I would love to see a never before produced Grail for O-Ring done in Haslab, just to see how it does.
Is there a Joe fandom analog to the Sail Barge? |

Unproduced toys? All I can recall that's sort of well known is the GI JOE train. But its still too obscure. The cartoons, almost everything there is too huge to consider. |

The Cobra Heli-Carrier, that would probably be a home run. Especially if it's on par with the size of the USS Flagg. |

I would love a Terror Drome or Defiant playset with minor here-and-there updates and modernizations.
For some time now I have been wishing for a big playset with lots of features. |

Fair point - some of us (as I look directly and pointedly into the mirror) spend too much time reading/discussing Joe, and don't consider that not everyone else knows everything.
Alas, yeah, O-Ring is dead. Some folks here might still dispute that, but it's semantics. There's literally nothing coming this year.

I'd prefer vehicle or playsets in 1:18 since that's the size decided on in 1978 that works best, though part of me would like to see the BattleCorps Rangers from 1995 completed

I hope they keep a 3.75" scale going forward. Introducing a new likely smaller Joe scale I think would be unwise.

I hate to say this, but for the foreseeable future, main-line GI Joe is that 6 inch shit, and it's gonna be that way as long as people keep buying it. Looks like Hasbro is considering Reaction the "retro" Joe line, so there's no room for 3.75" o-ring or 4" modern figures. The only way to change that is to stop buying Classified and Reaction.

I think the bean counters just didn't see the numbers to justify O-Ring.
Only Star Wars seems capable of maintaining 3+ lines at a time. And even that is simply because Chris has stated Retro Star Wars is his passion, so that's why we have it. |
