That's right. Wasn't there an A-Team van as well? With a sun roof to get the figures in and out of the front seats because the doors didn't open? I want to say my cousin had the van. I didn't have any of the 4" A-Team either but had the main 4, 6" figures. I think they were Galoob as well.
The first page of that link has an Airwolf Vamp LoL. Ertl made a metal 1/18 A-Team van that only the sliding side door opened on, and that also fit Joe type figures. Though oddly, BA was molded into the front seat. IIRC I think Glasslite did MacGyver and Knight Rider, too, and both lines also included a vamp knockoff. Quote:
The 4" A-Team figures were great. My dad would buy the weapon packs for my Joes and the A-Team became a subteam of GI Joe. I must have like 40-50 little red backpacks and black machine guns from those sets.
Always wanted the vehicles but my dad couldn't find them. My cousin had the corvette but we put a M-80 in it one day along with V3 Snake-Eyes, lit it, and sent it down our homemade ramp we made. That sucker flew into the air and literally exploded LOL. From then on that was how Snake-Eyes got his scars. |

I think on the Galoob van, the whole roof was removable.

If they're gonna dog us on O-Rings, at the very least they should have given us Ketchup and Mustard as a goodbye set. I woulda paid $30 for those two dorks.

Agreed.
I kept holding out hope that Ketchup and Mustard were going to return, even if in different colors. I was in for at least 3 sets if that had come to pass. Come on Hasbro!

Toy Fair this year isn’t until like the last day of September or first day of October. Wouldn’t be at all surprised if the o-ring relaunch happens then, following a toon and comic announcement at SDCC a few months before, and HasLab for Yo Joe June.
Of course, I also wouldn’t be all that shocked if o-rings don’t return until the 50th. But my point is that it seems kinda early to give up hope. With all the supply chain problems, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if an intended 40th anniversary line doesn’t end up in our hands until late 23 or anytime in 24. |
