While I agree, I have worry a bit about what something like that would cost. Not so much for myself, I collect vintage, so I'm accustomed to paying too much for figures, but if the fandom was REEEEing at Hasbro's $20-ish, just imagine what the... er... "ReAction" would be to whatever S7 would be charging for something with more than 5 poa.

Same as you bro. I rarely take them out now though after having to replace an arm on my straight arm Steeler after I busted this thumb putting the Uzi in his hand. That's an expensive figure too. Took months to find a broken one on Ebay with a good right arm. I put up a good chunk of my collection up on FLickr so can enjoy them anywhere and any time. I still have a good amount to retore and photograph but when life slows down I'll have the time to work on them.
I'd collect the hell out of o-rings based on other properties. I'm imagining o-rings of Michael Knight, BA Baracus, Magnum PI, Crockett & Tubbs, the Golden Girls, Ferris Bueller, etc. lol It would be hard for me to resist buying them.

No. I'm saying fans (not all, and never anyone in particular unless I name them) are unrealistic some of the time, and have a false sense of entitlement a lot of the time. Most of the complaints in this thread equate to "I want it, so they should make it for me". It just comes off as pouting.
Hasbro is also in the wrong because they definitely half-assed the whole thing. I'm just saying that we at least have options. And I'd rather have the small amount of stuff they made than nothing at all. Classified is probably closer to the end than they are the beginning at this point and you can be sure somebody out there who is the biggest fan of Airtight or Voltar is going to be pissed that his favorite character was never made. We at least don't have that problem. But I do give credit to Hasbro for cranking out more figures than I ever thought they would and think people are overlooking just how good these past few years have been and aren't letting themselves enjoy it nearly enough. We're grown men buying toys. Maybe us o-ring fans fortunes will change next year when our kickstarter figures start rolling in and Hasbro can see a real reaction to them.

Don't do it, tried it in the past but the cost got out of control so I offered them to someone for free then went to my current storage options

I tend to give away any extra stuff, because the thought of owning toys I don't display gives me anxiety, but for storing either accessories or parts for figures I plan to complete later, I have one of these. Needless to say, there are a lot of Battle Corps-era accessories in mine:
Do you replace all or most of your '91-94 figures that came with oversized, spring loaded or neon weapons? I gave a lot of those figures new and more realistic weapons.

I should also add that the launchers for the '91 line-up are different, as they were mostly designed to suit the figure. Red Star would be a great example, except that I prefer the rifle and chain-gun thing, so his hands are full.

Not so much with the standard tree stuff. Early 2000s - 2010s me hated the neon, but it's grown on me. I usually pick the mold or two I like best from the tree and go with that- the Hit and Run rifle mold and Muskrat shotgun are all over my shelves. I still tend not to use the spring loaded launchers or most Sonic packs, unless they seem integral to the figure (Rock and Roll and Psyche Out meet that criteria).
I should also add that the launchers for the '91 line-up are different, as they were mostly designed to suit the figure. Red Star would be a great example, except that I prefer the rifle and chain-gun thing, so his hands are full. That '91 Duke's launcher though is just what the fuck though, haha
