Yeah, things aren't great and if sales aren't good enough to justify something, they ain't gonna make it. We need to remember that retailers are Hasbro's primary customers, so with something like TVC, the lack of apparent sales may have caused retailers to cancel orders. With o-ring, there's no existing retail support, and something that may have been in the works there may have been canceled too. I reckon a lot has gotta be on the chopping block now.

I think I'm going to make a move soon on some sealed sets, is the move to just see what things sold for previously on ebay or is there a thread / website that covers the range of what to pay on some of these sets and figures. The Night Rhino set with the Night dusty is so cool - I probably sound like a broken record but all this 2000 stuff came out in the dark time between my childhood and getting married / having kids where Gi Joe was not on my radar sadly.

I appreciate your enthusiasm! Honestly that is what the hobby is all about. The Night Rhino is an awesome re-release of the Warthog AIFV. I actually prefer the night rhino to the original. Their is a snow cat, awesome conquest (great paint job on it) and kind of mediocre rattler from the era as well. I do go back and forth on reacquiring the rattler and just making little changes to it myself. Holding out hope that they decide on a haslab rattler.

Solds are going to be your best bet. I recommend holding out for auctions rather than BIN as well, although they're becoming less common. A good example are the two sealed '98 Cobra Infantry sets I mentioned in one of these two threads yesterday. BIN typically has them in the $120 range somewhere, I got my 2 sets together for right around that price by finding auctions.

I have the night rhino and i never put yhe stickers on it. It still looks awesome.

I have the warthog and i love it also. That slaughter was the only slaughter my group of friends had.

You should get it. Either version. It's so cool.
