A friend on a discord server asked Hasbro yesterday directly on Instagram and Facebook if the O-ring line was discontinued. Their reply was that while they do not confirm products before announcement, they can confirm that the line itself is NOT discontinued.

"We can't say if it's dead, but we can say it's not NOT dead" is awkward but reassuring.
They did publicly say "no future plans" for ME when folks asked right about the time the O-Ring reboot was announced, so this is good news, IMO. I look forward to whatever weird O-Rings 2023 brings us.

what that means is "keep buying what we have now, multiples of it, thinking you have to do that to continue the line, whether we decide to continue with the line or not"
i've had my fill of that with the star wars figures. i did it when they brought o-rings back (and better than this stuff) in 2000's and they still dumped it for that lanky mess we've been stuck with ever since. |

^The 00's repaint Joes were inferior in almost every way, IMHO. Don't get me wrong, I love them for what they are, and I'd say I have around 100 of them displayed, but the the rampant re-use of what was essentially mismatched parts was just one reason why I feel that way.
I will say of all of them, the RAHC still holds up pretty well though.

Agreed 100%. The Vipers all really stand out there. The icing on that particular cake is that when they tried to correct it by giving them all-new legs with that DTC pack, they went "fashion over function", and a bunch of those Vipers have broken crotches as a result.

Were those the figures with wildly disproportionate shoulders? I wasn't collecting for decades b/w the mid-90's and Classified.

I have noticed Emily and Pulse being pretty active over on Instagram the past 48 hours. Maybe a good sign too |

I don't know if y'all lack reading and comprehension skills or are just pretending to, but I definitely be keeping info like this to myself in the future. It's not worth sharing anything here. |

Yeah, like I speculated, I don't think this o-ring line is strictly in the hands of the Joe Brand Team. I think it's mostly being handled by Hasbro's "retro" division or team or whatever, so Emily and the Joe Team have an extra layer of bureaucracy to wait on.
