Guys, there's no need for doom and gloom yet. I obviously have no insider knowledge, but we did hear that a soft reboot was in the works, and we also knew well in advance that Pulsecon was to feature Classified news only. It's a bit early to start proclaiming "death of the line!!!"

The way I see it is - proceed with caution. Whatever 2022 has shown the team is probably that there is a market, but its not a huge market. Not all items sold out on Pulse, and thats a small market. So Im sure Hasbro dont wont to increase massively what they are putting out. I do hope that does mean they will continue with releases but it might be on a small scale, similar to what we have seen in 2022. That is unless a retailer wants to pick it up. If one of the big retailers wants to take it, then obviously we sill see a bigger range. If not then we have to accept $20 per figure.

Like I've said before, they told fans in one of their streams to check for o-ring news in several months which corresponded to Pulse-con, so lots of fans did expect that we would get news last week |

I don't know when but one of Hasbro's social sites from the Hasbro crew said before the stream it was Classified only in one of their replies.

I think these "reveals" are killing the fun, personally. Seems like most of us don't collect just the toys themselves anymore, but the news and the hype too. It's like people don't even enjoy the stuff that has already been released because they're so focused on stuff that hasn't shipped yet or was just announced or is rumored to be announced. The notion of being frustrated by "no news" is a weird thing, but here we are. I like it better when stuff just happens, seemingly out of left field, and takes you by surprise. Like the Stinger reveal. Who saw that coming? It was terrific, and the fact it wasn't announced a year before it's released makes it even better. I miss the way it was when we were kids and you only knew what toys were new for that year because of the product catalog pack-ins, commercials and the stuff that showed up in the cartoon and comic. Other than that, you just went to the store and were surprised by what you found there on the pegs.

I have to admit I am guilt of that, being hyper focused on what's coming next. I do appreciate the toys I have, but I do tend to get too focused on the news, or "no news", because I then start worrying about whether we're going to get more, and it does suck some of the fun out of this stuff. It's true that living in the moment like when we were kids is a better way of being, and it good to just appreciate what we have. I would agree that all these events where things are scheduled to be revealed, causes a lot of anticipation that's not really a good thing for the fan, but obviously works as a marketing tool, which I guess is the point from Hasbro's point of view. I guess we are just too aware of what we can have, and have expectations, compared to when we were kids... perhaps it's just better to lower expectations and just be pleasantly surprised if or when toys get revealed that we like.
