I?ve been wondering for a while now if this is how the 12? fans felt back on 82? All the pomp and circumstance for 3 3/4? back then, but no love to what came before it. Cause that?s for sure what?s going on for the 6? line right now. It?s getting all the love and fan fair, but our o-ring is being ignored like red headed step children.

Some sort of news would be great. I have to wonder how many of us o-ring guys fans there are to keep us out on a limb. The Sky Striker haslab, immediate Stinger sellout should show there is quite an opportunity for Hasbro to make some additional profit on top of the classified line.
My son had me break out my old vintage pirate legos. I've put together completely or almost completely all my original legos. I've gotten deep into that now - just got a Caribbean clipper to restore - it's a very anxiety reducing hobby I've found. I'm selling off some of my joes to supplement my lego purchases. I do agree that some o-ring news would be nice but at least my wallet won't be hurting. Glad you're finding the vintage legos a good hobby with your son, there's nothing like sharing toys with your child and having a great time. I do love vintage Lego, especially Space Lego from the 80s. |

Man, seems like Pulsecon had enough elephants in its panel room to fill a zoo!

O-ring? What's that? Never heard of it.

Yes, I'm sure Hasbro have done the cost benefit analysis... it's just frustrating to not know which way Caesar's thumb will point. I do want more o-rings, and to have a thriving o-ring line, but if they're going to kill it, I'd be hugely disappointed, but it'd rather know sooner than later so I can just more on from modern Joes and not think about it.

It was such a strange selection of figures, if that was all they were planning. I’m not optimistic at this point, but I’ll only give up hope if there’s nothing else announced by the time the Skystriker arrives.

I'm kind of glad that they didn't just throw in one token two-pack to end the show. It gives me hope that we'll get an o-ring only fanstream soon to announce a few figures, a vehicle or two and show off progress on the Skystriker.

That's what I'm hoping. We KNOW more product is coming (if only the Skystriker and the vehicles), so I think they are still just figuring out what they can and should say.
