I?d prefer it if they released figures in the same order as they did the first time around. Knock out the ?82-?83s, & pepper in some new characters, repaints & reimaginings. Include any new figures with vehicles/Playsets that didn?t originally get figures. Repeat for the next few years.
Masters of the Universe Classics got out every vintage MOTU figure and then some by carefully balancing the yearly assortments. |

It would be great if they did some honest to goodness new versions of these remaining figures in O-ring, just so they don't look out of place with every wave that came after 1982. True story, when I finally saw a straight arm Flash at my friend's house in what was 1992 or 93, I thought it was a Corps! figure. Last edited by BizCopperhead; 01-05-2022 at 12:04 PM.. |

I'm more interested in "how" than "who" right now. More 2-packs? Single figures at $19.99 a pop? Mix-and-match? Unexpected oddities? Much to be revealed.

Ooh, maybe we'll know what they're planning by looking at the back of the cards for SS and SE? |

I'm betting they still stay at the $12.99 price point they've been at for awhile for the newer stuff. The Snake Eyes/Storm Shadow box was a special thing with who knows how many extra accessories.
Ooh, maybe we'll know what they're planning by looking at the back of the cards for SS and SE? While I don't love it, I'm going in with the expectation that these will be $19.99, that way if that's the case, I'm happy enough to be paying less than I would for vintage, and if not, I can just be pleasantly surprised. In other words, expect the worst, and all that rot.

They did mention that the inclusion of 6 figures in the Haslab SS was $120 value though...

As much as I want that, I want the line to succeed, and Zap, Grand Slam, and Steeler (for example) aren't the heavy hitters that Gung Ho, Roadblock, and Duke are.

I get why a lot of fans want to see this, but I'd be shocked if Hasbro went this route. It would represent a far greater commitment to o-ring than we've seen evidence for. That's 50-60 figures before you see iconic '86 releases like Viper, BAT, or Beach Head. That's roughly three times more than Classified has done to date, and way more than the measly 2-3 figures per wave we saw with Retro.
It's possible we will see the O-ring re-releases come pretty quickly because this should be relatively low-effort compared to the ME stuff. |

I’d just hate to see the line peter out before anyone can collect even one of their favorite years to completion.

Yeah, we'll have to see what they do. I'm not sure how many of the fans out there are completionists. There's lots of stuff I wouldn't bother buying even if I had the chance.
