Y'know, for as much shit that people give Snake Eyes for ruining the comics, I think Slaughter deserves even more for overwhelming the cartoon. Boring character, grating voice, I just can't stand him. That being said, I did love the original mail away figure, but would swap heads and make him different characters all the time.
I'll buy every o-ring figure that they make, but with Project Longbow coming up next month and vacation, and me being crazy enough to spend $200 on another kickstarter for a screwdriver, I'm glad for the slow rollout. |

I would buy at least one. I can remember getting my Slaughter/TTT as one of my happiest childhood memories. Sarge was one of my all-time favorites as a kid.

Yeah I probably aimed high on the price. Still, this gives me hope for Sarge coming to O-ring down the road. From the press release:
"Hasbro announced a multi-year partnership with iconic, American pro-wrestler Robert Rudolph Remus to bring the toughest G.I. JOE, Sgt Slaughter, to life – see below for a digital rendition of his figure. The Sgt Slaughter figure will come with exciting accessories allowing fans to recreate the 80s nostalgic Sgt Slaughter experience. Sgt Slaughter first appeared in the G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero toy line and comic book series. Stay tuned for more G.I. JOE news during YO JOE JUNE!" Note "multi-year" |

Re-releasing Sarge with TTT as the first standalone vehicle makes complete sense.
I'd rather have him with the Warthog as it's a much better toy, but I'm trying to be realistic. |

Oh wow, that is great news. A Multi-Year deal, that has gotta mean we'll be seeing a bunch of Classified and Retro Sarge figures. Heck maybe he'll be in the new GIJoe video game too.
I wonder if they still have the Warthog molds somewhere. I think the club used it last in 2006. But I'd be happy to get the Triple T Tank too. They could really pump out the Sgt Slaughter figures for both lines. A Serpentor vs Slaughter set would make for a great deluxe set. Classified or Retro. |

I like for people to get what they want from these lines so I'm happy for Slaughter's many fans. But he is one figure I won't have in any scale.

I’m excited about an o-ring Slaughter and hopefully TTT. There’s no way Hasbro would make that investment without more figures planned. Hopefully it’s a good sign for o-ring in general.

I certainly hope you're right- I may already have all 3 OG versions, but I definitely wouldn't mind more!
