I personally don't like the practice of scalping, but some collectors on here are talking about the act like it's equivalent to sticking random strangers with a hypodermic needle full of HIV. It's not. It's just capitalism. And like others have said, if you don't like it, don't buy from scalpers.

I don't really have a problem with scalpers, because I always figured if you need to scalp toys to make some extra money your current life is... how to put it nicely... not lived to its fullest potential. It really does suck for the kids though, because they probably will never get the fig they really want because they can only go to the store when there parents go.
Collecting Star Wars is the worse though; those people are hardcore collectors and scalpers... they will buy EVERYTHING that is remotely popular without even blinking twice. |
