With the absolute success of the HISS Tank as a Haslab( 16500 + so far ). There are a lot of vehicles that could make great future Haslab projects. Things like the Vamp, Stinger, AWE Striker, and Firebat I think could still be made as retail vehicles around the $70-$80 price range. But obviously larger toys would have to be Haslab possibilities. What do you think could make for a great future 6” Classified Haslab vehicle. A couple of my ideas/choices for future Haslab projects:
1. The Dragonfly with Wild Bill Tier 1: Airborne figure Tier 2: modern side mounted Vulcan mini gun and different missile racks Tier 3: ground crew/flight control figure Tier 4: helicopter landing pad with small computer control. Basically a landing pad display piece. 2. The Mauler with Heavy Metal( $350ish ) Tier 1: extra armor pieces, side bags, machine gun, etc. Tier 2: Steeler figure Tier 3: side and top battle damaged pieces Tier 4: co-pilot/gunner figure. A generic trooper part of the tank crew. My top 2 choices. There are others like the Wolverine that would be great as well. What would you guys like to see? I am thinking things like Ferret, Polar Bear, Trouble Bubble, Night Landing, MMS and HAL, are high potential for retail. Maybe the Skyhawk, ASP, FANG, FLAK, Chameleon basically anything that was built with a single figure in mind.
The Vamp, Stinger and AWE Striker aren't much smaller than the HISS and if staying with the original designs need to be wide enough for two figures side by side so I think those will be reserved for Haslab. The AWE striker has less plastic and Firebat would probably be around the size of that Buzz Light Year plane that was released so maybe, but I think it is unlikely given the challenges with other 1/12 vehicles Hasbro has done at retail. A Dragonfly, Rattler, Thunder Machine, Wolf, AWE, and Stinger would all be buys for me as Haslabs and I think they are doable size wise. |

I would love a Classified Mauler and I like the idea of Steeler being an unlock, although I'd prefer that he come with the base vehicle (I don't care for Heavy Metal).
Other Classified vehicles I would like to see are: The Rattler w/Wild Weasel The Skystriker w/Ace The Night Raven w/Strato Viper The Mamba w/Gyro Viper Snow Cat w/Frostbite Conquest w/Slipstream Tomahawk w/Lift Ticket Wolf w/Ice Viper Phantom X-19 w/Ghost Rider Demon w/Ferret Condor w/Aero Viper HISS II w/Track Viper Razorback w/Wild Boar Avalanche w/Cold Front Hammer w/Bombstrike (No figure came with the ARAH version, so this seems a good way to introduce her) Dominator w/Figure (Again, no figure came with the ARAH version, so this would be a good way to introduce an entirely new, original figure) I'm not asking for much. lol |

I love the idea of a Dragonfly. I think a VAMP as a Haslab would be great! There are so many wonderful vehicles I'd love to see, espeically a Water Moccasin.
My first big(ish) vehicle I ever had as a kid was the Snow Cat and so would love to see that as a Haslab. The only big vehicle I'd think I would want that's bigger than a Hiss would be a Moray Hydrofoil. I'd cost a lot of money though (probably at least $500). I fear anything bigger might cost way too much and be a pain to display. I'd definitely love to see a Cobra Wolf or Thunder Machine as well. I just hope that they make some other vehicles. A Desert Fox would be a cool idea...so many great vehicles they can choose from. But whatever they make looks as great as the HISS I'm definitely in! |

Was always partial to having combo's when it came to vehicles:
Classified: VAMP with HAL Wolverine with Whirlwind Stinger with ASP Or just go big with a Classified Scale Rattler, with Trouble Bubbles and CLAWs as stretch goals.

If we are looking at more Classified Haslabs, to ensure they are funded, they need to be iconic / unique. I’ve mentioned this in another thread, that I worry vehicles like the Dragonfly don’t have the “it” factor. Same for most of the Joe tanks. I personally feel the Thunder Machine or Rattler would work better, but then we would be doing more Cobra based stuff (which I would be fine with). I struggle to come up with a Joe vehicle that is iconic enough at the same size as the Hiss. Maybe I am crazy though, and a Dragonfly or Mauler would be just as successful as the Hiss. Love this discussion.
