It's only false advertising if it doesn't come out. It's advertising and the equivalent to a teaser trailer Then why are they there? Out of all of the figures to put on the website with a bio why a Sand Scorpion as opposed to a Siegie, Televiper, or an Eel? But you know what? Fuck what I'm talking about because I'm guessing just like you, (though my guesses are have a better fucking foundation than yours.) Why don't you call Hasbro and ask them? I can tell you from experience that they're really good about answering questions.

Buddy, you do not understand what "false advertising" entails or even how it's legally defined. Stop behaving as if you do. Everything you have said thus far is incorrect. Simply run a serach for "false advertising". It'll clear everything up.

Really? Then where's that six feet of shelf space at Target and Walmart? Yes they are and it's all incumbent on how well the movie does.

No. You tell me and cite your source. Just curious, are you a lawyer?

Besides you're the one throwing the "false advertising" moniker around all willy nilly. May be a good idea to understand the premise.

You can get a lot information if you simply ask the person who has the answer to the question.

It would only be "false advertising" if they advertised them specifically as figure releases and even then they aren't under any contractual obligation to fulfil it as you did not invest any money. The aggrieved party would have to show that they had been intentionally deceived and had money collected from them under false pretenses. If someone advertised a Metallica show and had Metallica on the posters and tickets and then a cover band played the actual concert, that would be considered false advertisement.
Hasbro has given no indication of why they do or do not have certain characters up. They do not even specify that the characters featured on the site are to be released as figures. |

You're guessing and I know for a fact that you're guessing, but fuck what I'm talking about. Here's Hasbro's customer service number +1-800-255-5516. When the customer service rep answers the phone ask say to the rep, "I was on the G. I. JOE website and on the site there's a page entitled, "Meet The Characters." I just wanted to know if these characters are DEFINITELY, (be sure you say DEFINITELY,) going to be released in a future wave? If the representative says, "Yes," to leave no doubt whatsoever say, "Just to be clear those aren't just random characters on the website and they're going to definitely come out. Conclude the call by saying you're just a geeky fanboy nerd and you wonder about things like this.
