Not sure if this has come up before, but Classified figures work really well with the Rambo Force of Freedom vehicles by Coleco from the 80s. The Rambo figures are also roughly 6", though stand a smidge taller than the Joes, but their vehicles fit the Classified figures well. There's also a really cool play set in that line for the bad guys that looks like a bamboo watch tower/prison cage/command center out of a Missing in action movie. Not sure how much these are going for these day, but they're another option that works well in a military toy line if you can get your hands on them. They're kind of perfect for the Classified universe.
I'm not deep into Classifieds myself, just limiting myself to a few that I really like, but I do have the Rambo play set, jeep, plane and helicopter, as I collect the Rambo line, and they are really cool solid toys. Just a heads up incase someone is interested in vehicles for their figures. Last edited by Katana78; 05-25-2021 at 03:19 AM.. |

Looks a bit like a mannequin standing next to Classified Lady Jaye and Baroness, though. (Which is to be expected, considering their age difference.)

That's a clever thought, actually. Some of the weapons Rambo & friends carry might be a good fit, too, for people preferring realism. (Or who just dislike Nerf.)

(Which is to be expected, considering their age difference.) I agree, K.A.T. Was a great figure. Great design and great accessories. Yeah, the articulation was limited, but what these figures lacked in articulation, more than made up for in solidity and playability... you could really abuse them and they would be fine. What was strange though was have there was knee articulation, but no elbow articulation in the wave 1 figures. That’s quite strange when more toy lines were either or. Wave 2 figures has elbow articulation, but the line was on the way out by that point, and none of the original characters got these updates. Either way it is a great line of toys... Gripper came with 5 Uzzis, and he could store them all on his person and backpack! |

I think the Coleco weapons work great and very realistic

The weapons would look really great with the Joes, but from what I remember the handles are quite large, so maybe a bit too large for the Classified hands. I’ll double check and confirm, but I’m pretty sure that’s the case. I do love the weapons though, very true to design, and you received a ton of them with each figure, plus the insane amount you got with accessory packs.

The Coleco Rambo stuff has gotten a lot more expensive after classified launched. Kind of wish I bought them early on.

Yeah, it’s a shame cause the weapons are really good. The vehicles and play set however work really well and don’t look at all out of place. A Cobra infantry in the black Jeep is awesome.

Definitely gone up in price, but it seems all vintage stuff has within the past few years. MASK toys have as well, so I’m not sure if it’s directly related to Classified or if it’s just vintage 80s toys in general.

Oh, and the "Skyfire Assault Copter" is the answer to the question, "What if the F.A.N.G. and F.A.N.G. II had a (giant) baby?"
