So as with many, the Target and distribution issues have left a real bad taste in my mouth. So much so, that the figures I had, I sold minus Amazon SS, Hasbro Pulse SE, regular version CC and Supreme Snake CC and a couple of cobra ninjas.
When I first heard the news of this line, my inner 80's kid geeked out at the possibility of getting 6 inch GI Joe's in the ARAH versions. Now while the figures may be "loosely" influenced by the 80's Joes, there's no denying that these versions are pretty much sci-fi and video game based. So my question is, do you think Hasbro will ever give us 6 inch ARAH accurate Classified figures? |

Probably not. Doing a classical style like the Star Wars 40th / Retro carded Black Series, but with G.I. Joe vintage explosion art, would too awesome.

If Legends, Black Series, and Transformers are any guide, then the answer is almost certainly yes.
This line is taking forever to get off the ground because of distribution issues and weird decisions (A-list characters being Target exclusives), but the longer it goes on, the more likely it is that everyone will get something that they like.

Should be more worried if we will get Classified at regular intervals and more easily attainable.

I really hope so. It makes a ton of sense. I honestly believe the vast majority of fans would be prefer that... just like Marvel Legends, StarWars, Power Rangers, Ghost Busters... pretty much every 6 inch line.
I have been disappointed for the most part with Classified. I have skipped most them because they simply aren't what I want |

I've mentioned this before, but when specifically asked this at one of the presentations, Lenny gave a fairly enthusiastic yes. It might not be for awhile, but if the popularity of the line holds, I think there is a very good chance.

At one point, he referred to the current Duke, Scarlett, Cobra Commander wave as the "Blackout designs", referring to the video game. I thought this was a very good sign that they were open to other designs for those early figures that don't seem to have the same aesthetic as later waves. Virtually any Scarlett or Cobra Commander new mold would look better than what we have.

I didn't catch that - interesting. Although, I have to say I really liked CC - agree on Scarlett though (and especially Duke/RB for me).

The longer it goes on, the more likely ya’ll find something to bitch & moan about how they’re not 100% exact duplicates of the 3.75” figures. The way they’re cranking them out, we’ll be dead before we see a dozen of our favorites in ARAH design.

No they won’t. They have a half ass retro line for ARAH material. The 6 inch line is not geared toward it.
