Modern era Joe? I will say the Retaliation Joe Trooper from 2012.

All time favorite? Grunt. Eventhough Grunt was an individual, I still looked at him as a generic trooper that there were multiples of.

ROC provided some good Joe troop builders with the PIT Commando and the TRU Exclusive Grunt and PIT Trooper figures.

I never liked the idea of "Greenshirts" or "Cannon Fodder" Joes. Sure the comics and cartoons sometimes had generic background Joes but personally I like the idea of Joe being outnumbered by Cobra, massively. Fifty "Blueshirts" for every Gung-Ho or Roadblock. Truly a small, elite, global strike force.

No polling vote because I vote for 2012 Ret Trooper and he isn't listed. I also didn't like the joe Trooper idea ether.

There was a short period of time in 2014 when just the figure could be had cheaply on eBay. It was likely grey-market overproduced inventory out of Hasbro's actual Chinese factory. That's how I got one, with rifle and stand, for about $11 shipped.

I wouldn’t troop build him but he is pretty frickin sweet. He combines the modern style awesomeness of the SB Delta with the classic color scheme of the og SB (and has some pretty neat rain camo pants!!!) he is by far my favorite of the figures listed
