Just wondering, was the Rambo line of the 80s the same size as Joes? I've never seen the figures befores. Thought some of the vehicles could be used for Joes if they fit...

No. The figures were 7 inches I think. Bigger than the Joes. But the vehicles were awesome.

Well, dang..thanks! I was looking at some on eBay. They looked about the same size but much less detailed. They have one towerlike thing from the Vietnam camp that looks pretty cool.

Wow, yeah I had that guard tower set, haven't thought about that in years! The figs are definitely bigger, I remember I had some motorcycle too that was just way too big for the Joe figs.

they're actually more detailed. Their weapons (the real ones) were very realistic, and the plastic is a lot better. Just for comparison, they're even bigger than a MotU figure by far. Almost twice the size of a Joe. I still have a bunch of them.

i LOVED these guys my favorites were of course the black and white ninjas.
the motorcycle was an AMAZING toy. it had a gattling gun that would come out of the back in a hidden compartment. missles that flipped out from the sides, uzis strapped to the sides. this thing was STACKED!! |

I remember an episode of Rambo where General Warhawk gets his cargo ship full of cocaine dumped in the ocean and there's this huge mountain of white powder sinking into the water.
I imagine that wouldn't make it past censors these days. |

I remember the Rambo figures, they were larger than Joes. I used to have some of them, but i could never get the black and white ninja figures. I bought the dvd cartoon series off Amazon a few years back, they shoot bullets instead of lasers, its a shame the Joe cartoons werent like that.
