The only problem with opening up the packaging on the figures is the portions of the card art that get ripped away with the plastic.
Has anyone got any tips for removing the plastic without damaging the backing card? One thought I had was to try heating it with a hair dryer so the glue dries out. |

I'm sure you've heard this, but just cut the plastic right above where it connects to the backing card. If you get it close enough, the artwork is still very visible yet intact.

I have not found a way to do this either. So I just threw them in the trash.

The ROC single figure packaging is extremely tricky to try to get open without damaging the cards. So I gave up trying.

I usually take a razor blade and cut around the plastic bubble as close as I can to the card as not to damage or rip the card. I usually then throw the bubble away. I like to keep the cards intact even if not collecting MOC. The hairdryer method sounds interesting.

It's simple. Just cut along the bubble right at card level with an exacto knife.
I haven't lost a single RoC card yet.
