Is Copperhead a Dreadnok

I was talking to one of my local Joe enthusiast friends about Dreadnoks and he told me that Copperhead is a Dreadnok. Did this happen in Devils Due or IDW runs? One of the cartoons? He couldn't tell me where he had read or seen it.

Never heard this theory proposed but based on how little we know about Copperhead, of the "Cobra Freelancers" I could see him at least being one of the closer friends of the Dreadnoks.

His allegiances and "interests" are definitely aligned. For example: swamps, crime, vehicle/uniform colour choices.

I still like him as an independent contractor but I could see him going to Zartan's for grape soda on Fridays ;)

While I don't think he is actually a dreadnok as a kid I often used charcacters like Copperhead, Croc Master and Crystal Ball with the dreadonks as I have always pictured those characters fitting in better with likes of the Noks as opposed to Cobras military regiment.

This comment is better than any of the file cards in the past 20+ years. In fact, this should be the file card text for the next iteration of Copperhead. Really puts some life into the character.

In my brain, Crystal Ball was very intellectual, but even more sinister than Mindbender (wasn't really a Mindbender fan). Too bad the character wasn't really explored.
