Yesterday I saw the first set of these at my local Target. They looked really nice but are just not something I collect. I was glad to see them in a store though.

Yesterday I saw the nano metalfigs 6-pack at Walmart. They were all the same packs. That is to say, each pack had the same assortment of characters. I was thinking at first that maybe there were multiple assortments in a case. I picked a set up for $10 just for the hell of it. Maybe Jada will put out some kind of display scene in the future like they did with Harry Potter and Batman.

These are the same size as the old Micro Machines from the late 80s. However, these are:

1. Die Cast. Except for the bottoms and wheels.

2. They are more detailed than the old Micro Machines. Compare the Back to the Future Jada toys Delorean (hollywood rides is what they are called) compared with the OG Micro Machine counterpart. The Jada Toys cars are more detailed, IMHO.

I can't say the same about their die cast mini figures, however.

The GI JOEs in that pack look halfway painted.

The Dungeons and Dragons mini figs are the same , unfortunately.
