What I do with the backpack is pull the bandolier down a bit and put the peg in his back only. On mine it's the malleability of the bandolier that seems to work the pack loose.

I concur. I do the same. Don't put it through the bandolier.

After the leg of my FF broke off I really started to look at the design of these figs and I think the hip butterfly joint is a bad design. I don't think that the additional leg articulation really adds much and the bar and ball attachment is thin. When compared to a Power Rangers figure, that uses a standard bar and ball hip joint, the Classified design is much weaker. The fix is simple but I worry that folks are going to cause lasting damage without knowing it because I sure did.

Hey thanks for sharing that - What is the fix? Also - I am new to the line. I just put a few more figures on pre-order. What would you recommend people do to avoid damage like you experienced? Hope you got him back together!

Fix is pretty easy. Either heat the leg with hot water or a hair dryer, although I much prefer hot water. Pop the leg off the joint then let the joint cool. Lightly sand down the knobs on the ball joint and then pop the left back on. If the leg has cooled I would warm it up just so that it goes back together easier.

Don’t go crazy on the sanding it takes just a little bit to make sure the joint moves easily but will still be tight enough to hold a pose.

When I got the figure I was messing around with it and put FF in a sitting position. His right hip seemed to be resisting but I didn’t think too much of it until I saw a post from someone talking about stress marks. I checked mine and sure enough it had a stress mark where the bar and ball joint from the right leg meets the drop down joint. I realized that I had twisted the entire plastic bar rather than the hip on the ball joint. As I was looking at it and figuring out what to do I was trying to get the joint to move but I had already done too much damage and off came the leg at the hip with the bar and ball attached.

Thankfully I got not one but two offers from folks for a spare FF.
