The last line of your post is exactly what I think every time I look at him and think about taking that damn gun out of his hand!

Do you have to destroy the cape/belt in order to take it off of him?

No. It takes some work but you can slide it down and off

My classified Roadblock's hips have become terribly loose. When I try to pose him he inevitably falls over/does the splits. He only stands if his legs are completely straight and centered. Anyone else experiencing this? Should I do the floor polish thing or what?

I'm not. All of my Classified figures have normal joint movability. You might want to try the fix for this. I've used crazy glue in the past, but it's risky if you don't move the joints enough before it sets.

Hey Guys! First post here. I just opened my new G.I.Joe Classified Snake Eyes. I have been a Joe fan since the 80's and I still have quite a few figures from way back. This Classified is my first toy in many years. I love the details and pose options for this guy. I can see myself spending a lot of $$ on more of these!! Yikes...

I did notice some floppiness to him - an elbow joint is loose, and his chest / abdomen joint is floppier than I would like.

So naturally, I went off to Google, which led me here to this thread. Love the site! I thought I would add a helpful video I found after doing some more Youtube searching. There are a lot of solutions in this video, and this guy has a lot of other good ideas in his other videos. I just thought this might be helpful to someone.

I intend to try to tighten up Snakes Eyes a bit using some of these methods, and I will report back how it worked. Looking forward to learning more about the site and you all.

Welcome to the madness!

The problem is widely noted as a big issue for...maybe half the initial shipment of that Snake Eyes. Some other figures have had it too, but generally a smaller percentage of them and to a lesser extent. Many of them also have a problem with the thigh sheath for the knife, where it’s molded wrong and you can only get the knife in halfway or so.

The same figure was originally released a couple months earlier (Mar 2020 or so?) and had neither issue, and the mold has also been used successfully for the Red Ninja, so it seems like it was just one big batch that had the problem. Sucks that yours does.

Thanks for that update! Appreciate it. Mine may just be somewhere in between. This is my first Classified figure, and my first figure purchase since I was a kid... so I may have been expecting too much.

I picked up some Pledge Revive It Floor Gloss from Walmart and used a syringe to drop a few drops into some of the loose joints. I waited overnight before handling again, and wow what a difference. I am pretty happy with how he turned out! The looseness is gone and he is very pose-able now. Even the infamous stomach crunch joint is greatly improved!

I was worried because I watched a video saying that Pledge watered down the solution when they updated the product, and it didn't work as well. I am here to say it worked for me! The bottle will last forever, and I am ok with touching up loose joints now and then.

I will post up some pics a bit later - although I am sure you all probably don't need them.

Madness indeed. I can see how this could become an obsession. Hasbro has come a long way since the 80s... and this is a pretty hot line of toys!

Edit - anyone had success with a technique that allows the backpack to stay in the back hole? Mine shoves in but after a minute it spits it back out. Won't stay in! I have some ideas but I like to ask about tried and true techniques first.
