I like stupid lists. I like ranking things. How would you rank the classified figures? For my dumbass rankings the one rule is I have to own the figure.

1. Destro
2. Cobra Trooper (I was shocked by how impressed I am with this one. He might of taken the number one spot but I think some character bias snuck in pushing Destro to the top)
3. Scarlett (Seems like some folk have a problem with this design and figure. They are wrong it is fucking rad)
4. Deluxe Snake Eyes ( I prefer the silver visor and the brownish color that was added. This one feels more commando and less ninja to me. Which I prefer. Plus it has the Uzi)
5. Duke (I always hated Duke. This figure makes me like Duke better. Good job toy)
6. Roadblock (I did not like his gun. Mine is displayed with ML Deathlok's gun. No real complaints about him I just think the others outshine him)
7. Snake Eyes ( Fancy SE made this one drop to the bottom of my list. He isn't in my main display even, he is just standing off to the side like a chump)

Now that my official rankings are public look for the top 3 ranked figures value to skyrocket. I'm guessing like $8,000 for Destro being number 1.

I'd really like to see other people's rankings. Make whatever rules you want for your rankings, I ain't your fucking boss

I'm not going to limit myself to owning the figure. I think it's reasonable to include figures that we've seen extensive pictures of and that some people actually have in hand. So here's my list of Wave 1, Wave 2, and Cobra Island (* are ones I own):

1. Cobra Trooper * (this is the figure that made me love the line)
2. Baroness (don't have her yet, but she looks amazing in all pics)
3. Destro * (do not like his character, but the figure is very well done)
4. Snake Eyes * (again, not a fan of the character, but the figure is excellent)
5. Duke * (best Duke figure we've ever gotten)
6. Beach Head (the green weapons are a problem)
7. Cobra Commander (helmet is fine, color scheme is fine, but the uniform reminds me of Sgt. Pepper and the weird gold chain is just awful)
8. Scarlett * (she is why I originally bought Classified, but her design is too busy, her weapons are dumb, and her hair should be darker)
9. Gung Ho (a boring, weirdly non-traditional take on the character)

Refuse Bin (won't buy):
1. Red Ninja (what the heck even is this thing? no pupils? lots of bulky armor? just an awful design)
2. Both Roadblocks (I don't have this character in 3.75" and I guess I won't have him in Classified)

The Trooper is amazing.

I like that you added the "Refuse bin" and stared the ones you have. I'm really really hoping Gung Ho is better in hand then the pics, he was my favorite Joe as a kid. I didn't care for Scarlett in promo images and reviews, I completely changed my mind when I got the figure.

The 50th Gung Ho is a very cool 3.75" scale figure. But something is wrong with Classified. He might look better in hand, but there are reviews of him out there that don't give me much hope. I think his head is too big, the tattoo too small, and the color scheme just too muted (or at least too "army").

The Trooper is amazing.

Hit the nail on the head. I'd invert the order of 1-3 primarily on the basis that I have Destro in hand and can tangibly see how phenomenal it is. CT is fantastic and I'm sure will be in hand, but my personal position is to give preference to unique characters. For me, Scarlett is in the refuse bin. Design is just not enticing to me. Beach would be in top five easily if they painted his weapons. Sucks they didn't but the figure itself is stellar.

Love this thread. Thanks for starting it. I initially was going to only rank the figures I have, but I'll also include figures that I've seen extensive pics of:

1) Pulse Exclusive/Deluxe SE - Admitted bias here. My favorite Joe character. With that said, the whole buying experience was exceptional. The packaging, the added accessories, etc. Great sculpt, great quality. The fact that he was also the first classified figure offered is a factor. Along with Mafex Hush Batman, the best figure I've purchased this year

2) Cobra Trooper - Yet to own, but looks awesome. I'm indifferent when it comes to troopers, but I realize that they are essential for a Joe line. Hard to imagine doing any better than this

3) Destro - Middle of the pack character for me, in terms of how I feel about him, but the figure is nothing short of great

4) Baroness - The top two reasons why I was excited for this line were the prospects of getting a six inch SE and Baroness. Love the way this figure looks and I can't wait to get it.

5) Retail SE - The all black with the splashes of red just looks fantastic. I own two. The first one I bought had all kinds of qc issues. The second one is about perfect. Might have him ranked even higher if his weapons were better. Had to buy a different set of weapons for him

6) Roadblock V2 - For the time being he is Heavy Duty in my collection. A little better than the RB V1, which I think is a good figure

7) Duke - don't own, but looks solid

8) RB V1 - Good figure

9) Beach Head - no attachment to the character, but it looks like a decent figure

10) Scarlett - I actually think the figure is well done, but I just can't connect with it

1. Destro - Looks just about perfect looking forward to getting him in hand.
2. Cobra Trooper* - Great accessories, and detail. about as good as I could have hoped for.
3. Duke* - I am a Duke fan so may be a little biased but he is great with a lot of ties to the original figure.
4. Pulse Snake Eyes - I love that he has some contract in his styling and not all black.
5. Baroness - Motorcylce looks lame but She looks great.
6. Beach Head - Great Sculpt, green weapons are lame.
7. Snake Eyes* - Need some contrast to the character
8. Cobra Commander - Looks pretty good
9. Scarlett* - The face scuplt and freckles saves this character. glad she is in the line though
10. Gung-Ho - Bummer about the Tattoo
11. Roadblock* (Heavy Duty) - Glasses are a nice touch
12. Roadblock* - Nothing Special, Lacks accessories
13. Red Ninja - Like that he can hold all the weapons, but no pupils?

Here's my list, but it only includes what I own so far and takes into account any modding/painting I've done. Customizing these figures has brought me tons of enjoyment, and it's not easy for me to come up with my rankings.

1. Cobra Trooper - Just a great figure. The only downside is the way the sheath and holster interfere somewhat with holding weapons two-handed, but I'm not bothered my this very much. Just so much fun to pose.
2. Beach Head - I think the sculpting and parts really work well. The factory coloration does seem a little too toy-like for my taste, but repainting it has moved it way up on my list.
3. Snake Eyes (standard release) - Another that's a lot of fun to play with. Great articulation and the small red accents look sharp. The only problem is the mid-torso articulation on mine is fairly loose. I'm bummed I canceled the Pulse exclusive one at the last minute. I would love to have that gear, even though I prefer the all-black style.
4. Destro - Great representation of the original look.
5. Duke - This is another one that moved up a lot after I customized. Duke always loses some points just because I find it difficult to get that excited by the character even though I liked him when I was a kid.
6. Scarlett - This rank was the hardest for me to decide. I really like the figure--even the color scheme works for me--but I feel like it's missing something to move it up higher. I might get another sometime so I can have one that's unmodded (maybe I'll paint the hair) and one that's completely repainted into more classic colors. Maybe.
7. Roadblock - As released is very meh, but repainted makes me like it a lot more. It loses points because I'm not thrilled with the headsculpt and he really needs a better weapon.
