Sampling weapons from a variety of vendors has been fun; I learned a lot about myself, like my fingers aren't nimble enough to handle the delicate resin weapons. I've so far broke $30 in gridironprop guns due to mishandling them, so as much as I love them I think they're not for me.
I've had better luck with marauder stuff so far, and pre-ordered the valaverse weapon packs as well (I'm assuming those are more traditional plastic?) -- any other companies you'd suggest for the less fragile-friendly collector? |

I don't think I have any resin and was not aware they are fragile.
The Marauder 1/18 stuff does seem pretty sturdy and the thin parts aren't bendy or bent. |

Gridiron stuff is 3d printed right? I have a ton of their stuff and it's always seemed very sturdy. I'm by no means gingerly arming my figures. I stretch out Classified figures' hands. They snap back really well.

No idea, but I think if the 3D printed layers didn't bond well enough, it could snap along that line.

One of issues I had with the handle on the silenced SMG may have been this! It literally exploded when I was trying to get it into a super tight joe hand. Another was much more understandable - I gripped a sniper rifle by the barrel and it just snapped clean off.

Really? They look good in pictures I've seen but the prices feel a bit high to me. Anybody know if it's resin or filament?

I finally put some of my Gridiron orders on some figures last night. It does take a tiny bit of effort but they all felt sturdy and once they are in, they are good. They are the best looking, reasonably priced outlet for realistic firearms for the Classified line right now. I like the Marauder stuff but they are pricey as heck. I am really hoping Gridiron does more such as a Steyr AUG, a classic Uzi, and some FAL variants.
