Gimme Ultimates toon Shipwreck! I know he won’t scale with Classified, but I’m not confident yet that Classified will give me a toon-ish Shipwreck. That’s the only version of that character I really want. As for the ReAction stuff, I’ve seen a few neat looking ones...but not the $15 or $17 neat they typically sell for. And I don’t want 5poa Joes anyway.

Was looking at stuff on BBTS, and found this listing. Is this something new, or did I miss when this was announced?

What if they come out looking like joe vs cobra? First wave stuff. Or super hero like potf2? Still going to buy them? And as far as the card art, I'm not impressed. When I go in to a FYE I never see anyone looking at reaction stuff let alone buying them.

I'm hoping these are redone vintage o-rings. That would kick ass on original packaging. I'd be all over that. Fingers crossed.

Funko Pops have already lasted longer as a popular product than Beanie Babies did, and I say this as someone that's been expecting the Funko bubble to burst "any day now" for like the last five years.
While I have doubts that many will hold their value in the long term, it's definitely borne out to be much more than just a "fad." Funko seems to have a reasonable grasp of supply and demand and they simply shotgun-blast with so many different properties that there's something for everyone, with the added sheen of being "artsy-cutesy" enough that you can put a few of 'em on your desk at work and will get less side-eye than putting actual action figures up there. Oh, and ladies like 'em, too (Largely because of that "cutesy" bit). |

Who is on your wishlist for Ultimates if they do them?
Off the top of my head, Manimals, Fatal Fluffies, Crimson Cadet Deming, Polar Bear Mutant Cobra Trooper... It's the commitment to weirdos mixed with icons in iconic form that will attract me if they do Ultimates. |

The attraction is the same as why I can't stand Hasbro Retro packaging. The art.will likely be done right with thw actual look of original 80s. Retro packaging looks terrible with those huge asst blisters and tons of dead space. If Super7 can remain faithful to that original look and you really just want the card, it saves you having to pay out the ass for the true vintage. I wouldn't even want carded Hasbro Retro Collection. It looks horrible.

It's possible they go with the original design but considering how they have handled packaging on other properties in the past, I just don't see it happening. My artwork was featured on a super7 reaction card last year and they use a general template for all their cards. These It might contain elements from ARAH but all super 7 designs are SW inspired and have frames/borders as opposed to the ARAH design that was just the burst and header and the smaller elements like the name placard and "call to action" verbiage. I'm not a fan of the retro card as I hate that it's missing the white border but I think that was done so collectors can differentiate 25th line from the Retro collection. I could be wrong though.

That's very cool! Which figure was it If you can say? Do you know why their packaging has that slightly pixelated look? Surely it's not for lack of the proper equipment to print the cards.
