Anyone else besides me disappointed in the weapon size, and the fact that none of the figures really have hands that hold their weapons well? Kind of a "quit your bitching here you go" pack that hasbro just slapped together to shut us up. They are all characters I wanted, dont get me wrong, but after getting them the other day, the excitement has worn off.

I haven't opened mine yet and as each day passes I get further and further away from doing so.
They fit nicely in the box in my display and the carded figures of the 25th/ME line just don't stand well without support. It's nice to have some packaged Joes right along side my loose ones. Your comment only supports me not opening them.....looks like they will be staying behind plastic. |

Perhaps I just haven't opened anything new in awhile, figure wise. To me it just seems like the weapons are far bigger than the original ARAH 25th line.

Hit 'n Run's is the exact same as Airbornes.

Yes, but Outbacks and Recondo? Also, why doesn't Alley Vipers gun actually fit on his backpack?

Hit n Run's hands are useless, they barely allow him to hold a gun. I forgot one of my Zap's legs is loose. Ripcord' head is a repainted Red Star head, no mask for Wet Suit, Ripcord's helmet is crap.

yeah I didn't want to complain about them because I'm happy we got them. The only things I see wrong was Mindbender missing his generator, Range viper hands suck, There's no clip for the gun on the Alley Vipers backpack (solved that with one of those clear bands), Hit & Run didn't have a duffel bag, and my Outback's right leg was a little loose. Oh yeah, my Mindbender's gun snapped in half when I tried to take it out of the package. Now he has a laser pistol. LOL! looks better that way IMO.

But if you have extras of Hit & Run's original accessories, he can be set up lots of cool ways, like scaling a building using his dufflebag for example

HUGE disappointment! Like you, I was pretty excited to get my 7-packs.
Then, I opened them. UGH! Ripcord's helmet feels like it is made of saran wrap. His mask does not stay on and his hands are made of the softst plastic ever! (Zap's hand are just as soft and unusable). Hit & Run's hands can't hold anything. Not that it matters b/c his arms can't bend. Recondo's head is HUGE! Put him next to your dvd pack Dusty (recondo's base figure is the dvd pack dusty) and see the difference. Dude looks like the school counselor from South Park "mmkay..." Anyone else notice Chuckles' head sculpt looks like a young Bill Clinton? Wierd! My Cobra set was better quality. But still...that Joe set has me really thinking about whether I want to spend money on Internet stuff. I can always take toys back to a store if a figure's hands can't hold its wepons. Can't really do that with Internet stuff. |
