Flint: Well that'll keep COBRA at bay for a while, their NYC operations are over. Good thing we took the stealth approach they didn't see us coming, I'm very lucky to have taken this mission with an expert in stealth missions huh Snake Eyes.
Snake Eyes: ...

Flint: Well we can remove our silencers now we won't be needed them any time today.

*Flint and Snake Eyes hear gunshots*
Punisher: Die criminal scum
*Punisher walks out of an alley.
Flint: Well I'll be damned, it's Francis Castiglione.

Punisher: Dashiell Faireborn, now there's a face I didn't expect to see again.
Flint: Been a long time Francis, the last time I saw you was in Kandahar.
Punisher: It's Frank now Dash, Frank Castle. I had it legally changed to serve a third tour.

Flint: You remember Snake Eyes Frank? He had blonde hair and spoke very little.
Punisher: Yeah. He helped me rescue you after your helicopter was shot down.
Flint: That's right. Well since then he's lost his voice after an explosion scarred his face and shredded his vocal cords following a helicopter crash.
Punisher: Damn.

Flint: Yeap. We're now part of a counter-terrorism unit protecting the world from the next big threat.
Punisher: What's with Snake's outfit?
Flint: It's an op-suit.
Punisher: What kind of counter-terrorism agency gives out op-suits like that? He looks like he belongs in the Avengers. Are you with SHIELD? I thought the government disbanded SHIELD after the Latveria mission went south.
Flint: They did. We're the replacement for SHIELD.
Punisher: Which is?
Flint: GI Joe. The program was started by General Joseph Colton to fill the void of SHIELD.

*Sanke Eyes, Flint, and Punisher arrive in a GI Joe facility in NYC. Flint and Punisher decide to do some target practice.*
Flint: Snake Eyes was one of the earliest recruits. He was chosen by Colton himself alongside Shana O'Hara code-name Scarlett and Clayton M. Abernathy
code-name Hawk. Snake Eyes is now engaged to Scarlett.
Punisher: How'd you get involved?
Flint: I met a man on my first tour in Afghanistan. His name was Conrad Hauser and after he had been recruited by Hawk he recruited me into the program. He had taken the code-name Duke.

Punisher: You’ve told me all of your colleagues' code-names?
Flint: Oh it’s Flint. I met a woman in GI Joe her name is Alison R. Hart-Burnett and her code-name is Lady Jaye, we got married a year ago.
Punisher: I’m happy for Dash, I hope one day you can start a family with her.
Flint: Frank, can I ask you one thing. Why did you become the Punisher?
Punisher: Maria and the kids were murdered.

Flint: Oh shit. I am terribly sorry.
Punisher: It happened after I returned from my third tour. I decided to have a picnic with Maria, Lisa, and Frank Jr. when then gangsters killed them taking them from me. It’s an insane world we live in, so every night I go out and make the world sane again.
Flint: That’s some rough stuff, Frank. They say war is hell, I don’t really buy it. Actual hell is something else and it sounds like you’ve lived it. All I can say is if I ever lost Jaye, I might very well end up like you Frank.
Punisher: You haven’t read about me have you.
Flint: No just heard about the Punisher through word of mouth. Never knew it was you, Frank. GI Joe has access to old SHIELD and ARGUS files, but I’ve never read them outside of HYDRA because COBRA has basically seized all of HYDRA’s assets. We have learned everything before we can make a move because knowing is half the battle. By the way, would you be open to joining GI Joe?

Punisher: Trust me Dash you don’t want me anywhere in your operations. You’re better off trying to get Captain Steve Rogers to become Captain America again than have me working with you. Nick Fury knew it was a flight risk to deploy me so instead he had me do stuff that was completely off the books in Russia. That’s it. I have a feeling Colton is a lot like Fury.
Flint: Yeah. Colton knew Fury in the military, undoubtedly they’re similar-minded people.
Punisher: I figured. So he’d probably want to keep working with a known vigilante under the radar at all costs. I knew Fury, he was my CO on my first tour, I don’t know Colton at all. So I don’t know what he’s willing to do, but from what you’ve told me he reminds me of Fury. I don’t know if he’s willing to do everything Fury did.
Flint: I’d have to read more about Fury before making a full judgment, but I have a feeling he’d use you if he considered it necessary. Well, it was nice catching up with you Frank, but Snake and I have to go back to HQ. Semper Fi

A few things I thought about when making this. One, this Captain America figure feels sort of out of place with the classified figures. I'm thinking next time I put something like this together I'm going to get a figure of the Ultimate Captain America or the Marvel Now Captain America. Also, I will use stands from here on out. Gatting the figures not to fall over was a bit of a chore.
