Just took out my three MBTs from my collection. The Mauler is iconic - such a great design - it looks even modern by today's standards. My Equalizers are probably my favorite Joe vehicles. Only real negative about the Mauler is the rubber treads.

I first got the Equalizer back in high school in 2000 and it left a huge impression on me. I sold that one off while in college and ended up buying three when I got back into vintage collecting a few years ago. I sold one off in a panic because I was laid off and needed money - regret that decision a little now! It's by far the coolest tank - so much going on - it can be anti-air or easily take on a HISS. The camo paint job on all of the Slaughter's Marauders vehicles was also the in the whole line!

This question is meant politely, and not snarky, but you do realize that the Equalizer is NOT an MBT (main battle tank) by definition, because it is not a tank which used for direct fire and maneuver roles?
It’s actually a SPAA (self-propelled anti-aircraft) weapon used to nullify or reduce the effectiveness of hostile aircraft. That’s why all of its radars and weapons are designed for that purpose.

Those are 1995 I.R.O.N. Panther Tanks, part of the Sgt. Savage and the Screaming Eagles toy line.
It was originally designed to be the 1995 G.I. Joe Phantom X5-3 Stealth Tank, which would have come with a vintage Hit & Run o-ring style action figure. Because the vintage G.I. Joe line was ended, it was repurposed for Sgt. Savage and the Screaming Eagles of the same year. In 2013 the G.I. Joe Collectors Club did release that cancelled Hit & Run figure in modern 4” figure articulation, as part of the 2013 Night Force convention boxed set. I only have one of those 1995 I.R.O.N. Panther Tanks, which I have re-stickered as a tank for S.K.A.R., since I have no other vehicle for those figures.
