Snake Eyes: 2009 5-pack version Firefly: 2008 Comic Pack (with the black vest). Roadblock: The Renegades one from that multipack a few years ago looked pretty good. 86 Viper: I like the 30th Ann. one, but actually still prefer the 2009 5 pack one (with the chrome mask). Prefer that classic look. Flint: Still barely prefer the 2009 5 pack version. The 50th version didn't have proper sleeves, and plastic was gummy. Wasn't a proper upgrade. Those two 2009 5-packs gave us some excellent figures.

That comic pack Firefly, on the other hand, can't hold a finger to the Retaliation 3-pack one |

Lol I know I know, most people feel that way. You're probably right actually, but mine had one leg shorter than the other so he couldn't stand right, just bothered the heck out of me. So for my revenge I just trash talk him whenever I can now Bwaaahhahhaha

Lot of good thoughts in this thread. A few more:
Resolute Roadblock and Scarlett are pretty awesome, they would be the definitive versions for me. Scarlett's head can be improved with just about any other version or the MTF redheads as well. If you want to get a perfect one, the Pilot head can be used with Resolute Hair. Commando SE is a bit trickier- a great version is the Black ROC three pack version with the black Resolute head that is on a few figs. Kinda short when put with POC+ figures though. Dollar General Shipwreck is pretty boss. Paint his skull cap white and he is G2G. Some other versions are not bad as well. You can construct a good version of Duke with the Kwinn buck, DG W1 Duke legs (or so other ones, like DG W2 Shipwreck) and the Resolute or POC/50th Duke head. Some people use the MTF blond soldier head, but he is too stern and old for Duke. Last edited by Adventure Fun; 02-10-2020 at 11:05 PM.. |

The Rock Roadblocks are great as The Rock. Perfect to tagteam with SGT Slaughter. Don't really see him as Roadblock thought.

Mine's pretty much identical, minus the Snake-Eyes Ninja. POC fills both roles well enough.
Though I would add: Duke: https://www.yojoe.com/action/11/duke43.shtml Though the 50th version (v49) is a close second. I eventually realized I didn't need "exactly faithful to the original" to be happy with a modern Duke. Roadblock: https://www.yojoe.com/action/10/roadblock20.shtml I actually like them as well, and for the same reason. Roadblocks they ain't, but they're awesome Rock figures. |

Yeah, there are a couple great versions of Retaliation Roadblock that I'm happy to have in my collection but they certainly aren't "Roadblock." In my headcanon it just means Luke Hobbs works with the Joes sometimes.
