if the figure has a back pack hole w/out opening???? i used a flashlight and still cant see

Well, a lot of times with toys, if there's a running change, the upc is slightly different. I'm not sure if that's the case here, but I know companies have done it in the past.

And if you check the stamped date on the back of the card you might be able to tell by if it was an early run or a later run, the earlier not having the backpack hole.
But other than that I don't there's much else to do.

I would say if you didn't use a flashlight, and worked with sunlight instead, while holding the card at an angle, you should be able to see if there's any concave area on the figure's back when the sunlight hits it.
....or, I'm just talking out of my arse. Either way, it still may work! Try it! |

Try some x-ray glasses.
No, wait. That's if you want to see the figure's skeleton.
