The 25th anniversary is a great year for good things to happen. Things that we have wanted for so long are finally in the works. With that said, this year can only bring goodness and if this year pans out well, there will be a lot of r/d money for hasbro to utilize in making our fan dreams come true.
With that said, which do you want more, reissues of vehicles or new sculpt vehicles based on the old ones? Or perhaps a mix?(Hasbro does this with their Star Wars line, the dated vehicles get all new tooled versions sometimes as the case with the X-wing, and TIE with new wings, while some that still fit in such as the A wing can still be used). Me honestly, I would not mind a mix. What I like about the ARAH vehicles was that each vehicle seemed to be consistent in a certain scale, for example its been said many times that the skystriker looked like a 1/32 F-14. It did not have a super bulbous canopy and from the outside it was not obvious that it housed a gijoe figure. So it did not throw off the look. The Night Raven and Conquest were like this, same with the Locust. So in short, the ARAH vehicles were in a smaller scale than the figures, but had cockpits big enough to house gijoes. I did not mind this. I prefer this to what they did to the Thunderwing, where it was clearly obvious that it was an out of scale F-22. I would only want all new vehicles provided that they are scaled good but with a space big enough for a figure. ARAH reissues would be great, if retooled a bit for more durabiity(like the skystriker's tailfins). Just want to know everyones opinions. Discuss! |

I want the Sigma 6 vehicles produced in 3.75" size. Firstly because they kick ass and deserve to be made in the proper size to accomodate the 3.75" line and second because Hasbro originally intended these vehicles to be made for the RAH scale size, so prototypes and designs already exist so half the work is done.
Hasbro would probably be more open to producing vehicles that the design work is already done on then finance new stuff from scratch. Plus, unless their store exclusives I doubt we'll get any of the old vehicles. But that certainly is a possibility, if TRU and KB get interested again in the brand. |

While I'm a sucker for reissues, I'd prefer new molds. The middle of VvV, they finally started getting vehicles right. So hopefully that can carry over to new designs based off of the vintage vehicles
I really doubt we'll get anything to large though |

I really doubt we'll get anything to large though So I think gutting electronics and firing missles could let hasbro sell a big vehicle for $20. Not to mention they do have some of the old ARAH molds ready to use. So the expensive part(tooling) was already done years ago. Now its just a case of more money to be made if they decide to do this. |

Amen. I'd prefer new takes on classics if I had to choose...something to compliment the new line. If there had to be a re-hash...it would have to be something that we haven't seen X times since the 1st hiatus in 94 (I'm looking at you, Mobat). |

hardtop also I can easily picture hasbro retooling the old molds to make them durable. Sure some of the new vehicles(DTC, NAC) were SPLENDID, but overall there was more better ARAH vehicles than new sculpt vehicles from 2002 on. The skystriker and rattler, they are as iconic as the TIE fighter and Xwing for star wars. I can see them being retooled and repainted for each year. Much like the jedi starfighter and above formentioned vehicles are every so often. They are classic molds. They are iconic. They will sell. Retooling for the sake of durability would probably be better for the long run, they can count on nostalgia for sales and wouldn't have to worry about anything breaking as much. Really with the skystriker you just need to retool the vertical stabilizers and connection ports to be made like the ones on the Thunderwing; where everything snaps on and off easily. Those were the only fragile points on that bird. There are no electronics and no missle launchers, so....maybe in the minority but I can see it being $20. Don't let the size fool you, its much simpler to make then the more complex, smaller electronic joe vehicles that came after it. However a new take on the skystriker would be cool too, either or, so long as if the new take is better than the old with no compromise. |

Since the figures are new I would like for the vehicles to be new also. While the old sculpts are great I'm sure Hasbro has lost some of the great ones, maybe even the Skystriker since we haven't seen one yet. They could make improvements like making the H.I.S.S. bigger and maybe add an opening section in the back to hold some troops.
With that said if they decide to use vintage vehicles I'm fine with that. In fact the smaller vehicles like the Trouble Bobble or any of the motorcycles would be a waste to remake if the old molds are around. With the bigger vehicle there are a few additions that could be made like an extra seat in the cockpit of a Rattler but I don't see how a new sculpt of the Trouble Bobble would add much to it. Maybe a remolding of a few pieces but not a totally new sculpt. There is one thing I would not like added to the vehicles and that is firing missiles. The launchers on most never looked right. Adding them to a H.I.S.S. or Skystriker would look horrible.

Agreed. Also I would like to see the Battle Corps X-16 Ghost Striker. It hasn't been seen since 94! That was a great jet.
