Can't say I really have any figure obsessions at the moment, but if I had one "G.I. Joe" wish I could have granted, it'd be a carded '84 Stormy (in great condition). Years ago, I set out to procure probably my top two Joe wants of all-time as an adult: a boxed '84 Zartan and an '85 carded Xamot/Tomax set which I was able to obtain thanks to a couple of fellow Tankers.
I've always been partial to Cobra as my top fave characters are (in no particular order): Zartan, Stormshadow, Xamot/Tomax, and Firefly. As such, and due to space limitations, I only display reps from the Cobra clan. So, even though I have or have had many of the figures folks have discussed in this thread (and I do really like that 50th Gung-ho), most of my collection is relegated to storage aside from what you see here. I've thought about grabbing that 50th Gung-ho many times and ultimately refrain because, at the end of the day, it'll just be something else I toss in a bin, but if I ever got that carded Stormy, best believe it'd be displayed proudly on the shelf below.

I guess I want the Python Patrol Stinger with Motor-Viper from JoeCon. Probably out of my reach at this point.

As I was able to go in early on highly prized figures, I pretty much have all the Joe's I want. I even sold some of my rare Joe's, as they no longer fit in my collection parameters.
So I'm going out of Joe's to list my figure obsessions. 1. I am a huge LOTR fan, and I did get most of the 6" Toybiz figures back in the day. The only one that I really want, but never pulled the trigger in was the NECA Balrog that was in 1:12 scale. That thing was huge, and could hold a Toybiz figure in it's hand. 2. I want the remaining 8 dwarves, Beorn, and Bard 1:18 scale figures from the Hobbit movies. These were never released to retail, but I know there are figures that exist, as the were in the display case at the European Toyfair one year. It would be nice to complete my Bridge Direct Hobbit figure collection, but their stupid distribution, figure selection, and repack nonsense killed the line. Oh well.

I want the FSS Muskrat and Sneak Peek. Muskrat is oddly high, but the NF version is reasonable.

The Defiant is my dream playset to have but before I get it, I have to make sure I can store the dimensions of it with my Joe collection... I'm currently remodeling the garage of my new house so we would see if there is space to fit it.

I had one for a while. It is an awesome playset, no doubt. It’s big, but nowhere near the space hog a Flagg is. I would liken it more to the Terror Drome.

I still have my 1984 Storm Shadow and Firefly - each displayed prominently on my desk at home - the best birthday I had as a child *was* back in 1984. My younger brother and I had DESPERATELY searched for Storm Shadow and Firefly - to no avail. Then, in the middle of Summer, two days before my birthday, we were in Lionel Play World (remember Lionel?) and found them both! Our Mom made us wait until my birthday to open them - longest two days ever, but I’m glad she did. ;)
