Question:
Are Marauder John's male forearms compatible with 25th figure upper arms? I suspect that may be the case, but I would appreciate confirmation. Thanks in advance. |

Yes. I tried it once and the fit was just a little bit loose. I recommend giving the peg a coat of clear nail polish or liquid superglue to help it fit tightly.

I haven't had luck getting MTF lower arms to pair with 25th upper arms on the few I have tried it on. It's close, but not quite right.

Anyone have pics? I’m about to do this myself with MTF forearms and a 25th Suicide-wrists Flint.

the pegs are different length and width between MTF and HASBRO...at least with MTF all lowers are the same...not so with HASBRO. You likely need to drill the HASBRO upper arm hole to be deeper so the peg inserts full...just compare the one you removed to the MTF one and you can see what is needed.

Those forearms are better suited for the newer figures. You'll get a Popeye looking guy if you use them on the smaller diameter 25th ones.

I am doing it on the first 25th Flint so I’ll have gloved hands without suicide wrists. I am a bit afraid of that, but I’m hoping for the best. |

Nah - They don't fit good at all..totally have to be customized.
Not to mention the skin colors on the forearms suck. None of the heads that have come out are that dark peach color. I might be the only one around that is not totally satisfied with Marauder stuff. Its scale is all over the place and their colors are always kind of off as well. That's just my opinion tho. Mr Hebime said it as well. Scaling is an issue big time. very noticeable if you try it with modern sculpts.

Scaling is an issue big time. very noticeable if you try it with modern sculpts. However, I don't know of any toy company that matches flesh tone paint with flesh tone molded plastic 100%. I've been completely satisfied with MTF parts & figures. As mentioned above, at least all of their parts interchange nicely. It reminds me of a true modern build of the old O-ring GIJoe figure on how well the parts interchange. The pegs on the MTF fore arms are longer and skinner than GIJoe arms. Same with pegs on the hands. What I've done to make them work is cut the tip down on the MTF pegs and then add some hot glue into the GIJoe arm cavity. As the hot glue dries, just twist the MTF part slowly so that the glue doesn't adhere to the peg. Jason |

I used MTF Lower Arms on my Starduster Custom.
The torso & upper arms are Con Stalker. They fit fine. (Link below) So I know they do work with some 50th builds. Some 25th have more shallow holes so you might have to trim down the peg a tiny bit. http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...ml#post5130171
