OK, so I noticed something about all the Bombs Hasbro has produced for Joe toys since 1982 until now.
*** (please note my knowledge of toys from 1996 to 2007 is very slim so I may miss something)*** I quickly noticed in 1986 when the Firebat was released that it had what looked like a GBU-12 attached to it. GBU-12 I was very pleased. I figured the Tomahawk had some Mk-81s attached to it as well. Beyond that, I have not seen many proper bombs used by the Joe team. The Conquest had some funky missiles and the gray bomb-like items attached under-wing are actually drop tanks (for fuel - see the blueprints. So where are the AGM-130s? the GBU-10s? Mk-82 Snake-Eyes? Mk-84 generics? I am a former Air Force Munitions specialist and was a big fan of military aircraft when I was a kid (Joes helped start that). Hasbro did a great job making missiles like the AIM-9 Sidewinder, AIM-7 Sparrow, and AIM-54 Phoenix for the Skystriker, but they dropped the ball further by skipping the popular AGM-65 Maverick. I know this may seem petty, but I would love to see proper or even properly "updated" versions of modern munitions on Joe toys. It may even help inspire a new set of Munitions specialists in the future. So are there things I'm missing? Yeah the Dragonfly had a variation of the AIM-9 Sidewinder (which often finds it's way into auctions for the Skystriker). But where else can we find modern munitions on Joe aircraft? P.S. Thanks go out to the toy company that made the new F-22 (found at TRU). It comes with 2 AMRAAMs (AIM-120). Oh, and last but not least... AMMO! Huuh!

Yeah, I remember the older vehicles having authentic ordanance and that slowly changed.
It's kind of like the filecards. The originals had a lot of military backstory, jargon and training schools. The more it went on, the less it happened. Battlecorps was the absolute worst for made-up equipment.

It's probably having to do with copyright issues.
