Hi guys,
I was just curious as to what sort of boats or other watercraft have been released in the ME for the Joe team. I don't recollect seeing a single one in the ME. On the Cobra side, I've got the RoC and Retaliation versions of the 25th Sting Raider (which makes 3 speedboat options total), and the 50th Night Landing Raft, but I haven't seen any ME Joe-team vehicles which are a straight comparison. The only aquatic vehicle I'm aware of is the SHARC Tooth (and whatever its RoC equivalent was), which is an underwater vehicle, and not really in the same class--it's more of an analog for the RoC Mantis or the Club's Wave Crusher. At least I've been able to get some nice good-guy watercraft from non-Hasbro product. For example, I've got a Corps! raft that is a nearly perfect counter for the Cobra Night Landing Raft (they're virtually identical sizes); but, as far as boats go, all I have is the 2015 Elite Force Special Forces Gunboat, which is a great troop carrier and well-armed (and comes with a single-person raft of its own), and similar in size to the speedboats, but not quite an analog for a speedboat. The Corps! just released a Battle Cruiser boat, which looks promising, but is a little larger; and, I'm sure PTE has something that would work. But I'd like something actually Joe-branded for my good guys. So, I'm curious if Joe's gotten any boats/watercraft during the Modern Era, and I've somehow missed all of them, or if Cobra's got the monopoly on that front. (Note that I do have the Target-exclusive RoC jet-ski vehicles reissued from Spy Troops.) Just some random musings...thanks in advance!

BR1 listed all the ME Joe watercraft. Very slim pickings. That's why I want Hasbro to blow me away and release a re-tooled ME Killer Whale Hovercraft.

That's what I was afraid of. I didn't really start paying too much attention to ME vehicles until around the 30th Anniversary line (I was initially hesitant enough to restart my figure collection, let alone my vehicle collection), so I was hoping something might have flown under my radar. It's good to get some confirmation on the matter.

Hard to believe, that after 9 years, that's all Hasbro has done. Maybe a new Devilfish, or piranha attack boat are in order.

Also, looking at the links BR1 (cool nickname abbreviation, BTW!) posted, I finally got confirmation that the SHARC does double-duty as an aerial and underwater craft. How in the heck would that work? If it tries to transition from air to water, that's pretty much what would usually be considered a "crash". If it tries to go from water to air, I doubt it could pick up enough speed to do so. Ah, maybe I'm just thinking too hard ("Forget it, Mike, it's G.I. Joe"). But on the plus side, that does make the Night Spectre's role as an aerial fighter a bit less far-fetched, given the base model supposedly could fulfill this role as well.

I just can't bring myself to do True Heroes, though. Even though a lot of the vehicles are legit--and based off real-world designs, to boot--I just can't do it. It's gotta be the cartoony figures--they don't do it for me. (Yes, the Corps! are cartoony also, but I like their stylized design better.) I'd probably look for a PTE alternative first.

Agreed, presuming Hasbro has enough faith in the brand to start (re-)producing any vehicles. Luckily, I don't buy exclusively Joe product anymore, so I've got that Elite Force gunboat and that Corps! raft to help fill the void, and other options I can look at.
