The body used for Cobra Commander here looks like it could've been potentially "pre-tooled" for planned use as a movie accurate Storm Shadow later on. It's a shame we never saw Roadblock and Cobra Commander from this set. 2 birds with 1 stone; movie accurate Cobra Commander and Renegades Roadblock! Big missed opportunity with those 2 figures at least.

Really, this is a good example of the problem. Nunchuck and slice could have both been main stream releases. But instead, they are relegated to the club. Expensive, all the wave or nothing, releases. 7 years of arah figures and characters have been given over to the club, but don't worry! Snake eyes version 70 will still be a mainstream release, just in case none of the last 69 versions apealed to you!

We are getting something this year but we don't know if it's just SDCC exclusives or another wave of 50th. signs are pointing to a third wave but just like everything else there are conflicting reports... but remember most of the Tank thought we weren't getting anything last year only to be surprised with 50th wave 2.

Stop demonizing the club because they had a chance to get the character out to the masses and took it.

Actually, Generals Joes has pretty the same CC figure as a custom shown in their Ultimate Firefly review G.I. Joe: Retaliation Action Figure Reviews
