Last week, some of our crew was able to attend Mezco's pre-Toy Fair 2016 event. On display were many of Mezco's upcoming One:12 Collective figures. Interestingly enough, Mezco expressed interest in making One:12 Collective GI Joe figures! The question is, do you want to see this happen?
Here's an example of how the figures look: A Closer Look - Mezco One:12 Collective Marvel, DC & More - The Toyark - News Discuss! |

They are amazing figures, I got the DKR version of the one:12 collective and its great, but not sure how well it would translate into GI JOE, sure spendex is one thing, but combat uniforms at 1:12 scale could be tricky.

I think I would pass on this, maybe I would buy one or two but I would really need to love them. If I were to collect a Gi joe line in the 6in scale I would want them closer to Marvel Legends style.

Nope. Don't need limbs popping off when I just look at them.

I have no interest in figures of this scale, as I'm only interested in 3.75"-scaled modern ARAH releases (and more specifically 1982-1987 characters). That said, I didn't vote yes or no because if Mezco wanted to do it, and others wanted to buy it, then why not?

I think the product is a fascinating item:
mixing the "preferred" collector scale of 6" and mixing in elements once the purview of the 12" scale, and I'm curious how the market is going to react to these. In so far as GI Joe, I say...sure. Why not? The mere fact SOMEBODY is interested in doing new GI Joe product (regardless of scale) is fantastic, and this is the sort of product that I think stands on its own very well (where as any 6" product from Hasbro is going to equate to a 4" scaled up to 6"), but still have some solid cross-market appeal.

Depends for me. I love the black series starwars line and would love a gijoe line in a similar fashion. As long as the price is right.
