So fellow resident 'Tanker firmpulse suggested this as a poll idea. I swore there was one already on here, but I can not find one. I only went back to March 2022 though.
Anyways, how did the switch from window boxes to plastic free packaging affect your Classified purchases? Please vote and leave your comments!

The price increases affected my purchases more than the box change. But then again I always open my figures, and I'm buying a lot of it blind via online retailers anyway, so its not like I get to compare figures at the store before I buy (if what I want is even in stock). A plastic window changes nothing for me either way.

My purchasing habits have not changed one bit with the switch. I'm an opener, so packaging doesn't factor into the "collectability" of a toy for me.
Don't get me wrong, though, being able to see the actual toy in the box when I'm in a store is a nice part of the experience. But that box is either going into storage or the garbage as soon as i get home. For online purchases, the package is just there to keep the toy from getting damaged. |

I will buy far fewer non-female Troop builders because I don't open a lot of figures and have no use for boxes that don't show the actual figure.
My purchasing of new figures has dropped drastically across Hasbro's lines, but that's just as much due to character selection as the packaging.

I typically open my Classified figures, so no impact.

But now, not only am I not buying every single figure released anymore, but I am cutting back on the ones that I do buy since I'm not going for the complete MIB collection anymore. Completely dumped the Cover Girl/Maurauder BBQ/Falcon wave because I did not like any of the figures and they were all in windowless boxes. Now I'm only one person, but Hasbro lost out on $125 from me due to my dumping of that wave. Not much at all, but what if there are thousands like me? And mind you, I would have still kept my pre-orders for those five figures if they were still in windowed boxes. |

Not so much the plastic free packaging, but the price increase really hurt my Classified army building. I also have stopped buying any Classified at retail, I'm not taking the risk of getting something thats been swapped out.

Didn't affect it at all; I simply can't buy ANY of them easily here. XP

The Quality Control is now really shit now and theft is pretty high now with the no plastic packaging. They also cut back on protecting the figures so they come out with loose hands, banged paint jobs and warping etc.
That and Theft with the no plastic boxes is at an all time high and it's so common you can get stuff stolen in an Amazon warehouse. This and them cutting their customer service so it's atrocious means Hasbro is basically stealing from their customers. I point this out all the time because Hasbro is counting on you guys not knowing this stuff to steal from you guys so I point it out every chance I get.

It will not affect me at all since I open and I've been throwing the packaging away. Actually, because some of the art looks so good on these upcoming figures, it may actually persuade me to keep some boxes whereas I would not have done so previously.
