I really haven't paid attention to those action battlers. They were cute, but not my style. I've always liked my Joes in 3 3/4".
Today I received a shipment of the new Biker Mice From Mars from England. The new European BMFM are 6" tall and nicely sculpted for the most part. They stand well, but the series is limited. It needs more characters. I'm thinking that if I had a few nice 6" figures I might be able to modify them to look nice beside of my BMFM toys. So now I would like to know how tall the Action Battlers are? Anybody pulled a few out of the box yet? |

Wasnt paying attention, I guess they were around 10" or so.
I was reminded of Fisher Price Action Heros personally. |

BMFM series came out in 2006 in Europe. It picks up a few years after the original series leaves off on Mars trying to restore order. The bros have to come back to Earth. Good series.
They briefly showed a few episodes on American TV, but it isn't currently running. Bikermice.tv - The Official Biker Mice From Mars Website for more information. The toys were Europe only. They can be found on Ebay. I picked up nearly a complete set on Brit-E-Bay for fairly cheap. The new BMFM toys do not look good beside of the old ones, they're thinner and taller with much longer bikes. Overall nice toys for kids. It ticks me off that they don't really hold their weapons well, but they do hold the bikes better. |

Whoa, super-articulated BMs! I kinda like my old Modo's design more, but it would work better with this amount of articulation...

The new Modo is fairly nice. Vinnie is good. Throttle? I do like the older beefier Throttle better. I also miss the spring loaded antenna in their heads.
I would like to have seen them in a more battle oriented gear. They have sub terranian and dirt bike versions, but I would have liked to have seen a rebel fighter version (but not the urban camo that the old ones used). I'm going to have to find a way to fix up these little 6" guys. |
