Just received the 25th Hawk ('86 version) and can't believe how nice this figure looks. He went right on the shelf with the 50th figures. BAT is the same way, as well as Airborne and Mutt. I know I'm late to the game on ME figures, but what other ones did they seem to get right the first time around?

Airtight, LIfeline, Techno Viper, Low light, Torpedo, Tripwire, BBQ, Chuckles, Eels, Those Sunbow Cobra Divers,... maybe im not to picky but honestly I like most of the ME guys, I will get a better one if it comes out but it has to be like the new Gung ho level better.
Edit, adding wild Weasel, Liftticket, Rampage or whatever they called the Heavy Metal that they got right, Thunder ( again ionno wft they were calling him its thunder to me but he could have used his vintage headgear) A few like Crank case Recondo and Blowtorch just need better elbows. Kwinn of course is perfection, the SDCC red Jinx, I like the first carded Wild Bill. They really need to drop the Slaughters Marauders Falcon mold in the classic 87 colors with a new head that looks more like the original guy.

Crimson Guards are pretty cool, a bit on the skinny side, though.
Armored Cobra Commander, Bazooka, Arctic Snake Eyes, Croc Master, Nemesis Enforcer, Eels, Tomax & Xamot were pretty awesome too, i don't know why so many of them get so bad rep, i truly enjoyed that line

I personally think they got a lot of them right, like Xamot/Tomax, Bazooka, Snow Serpent, Buzzer, Wild Weasel, Eels, Airtight, Lifeline, Techno Viper, Low Light, B.A.T., Airborne, Road Pig, Zandar, etc.

I agree with all of those, ONLY didn't add Crimson Guard because the retaliation version is so good. code red is right about all of those Dreadnoks. Armored Cobra Commander is glory. Alpine looks like he might be good but I havnt scored one yet

Snow Serpent could use better elbows.

You know, another figure that gets overlooked most of the time is the dvd battle pack Quick Kick, even though i really don't like the character, it's hard to argue about how good the sculpt is, i mean, it's another perfect representation of a specific character; even with the lack of ankle articulation

The difference in sculpting from the 25th line to POC and beyond is night and day. I loved the 25th line when it first came out (still can't beat the ARAH packaging) but looking at them now they are so skinny and look too cartoony in comparison. but if the arguement is what 25th line figures hold up to the more recent lines I'd say:
Bazooka BAT Battle Armor CC Para Viper Tomax & Xamot Copperhead Blowtorch* Alley Viper* *Hasbro must agree seeing as they have reused/repainted these molds time and time again I thought yes on these until I saw the concept case versions: Destro (V1) Snow Serpent BBQ |
