I got the Cobra Scythe and black Joe Skystriker (Night Boomer from the TRU Silent Strike set), and I've always loved the Skystriker's stickers because they give you new symbols for various pilots (the original one had Ace, Snake Eyes, Flint and Shipwreck). The Scythe comes with symbols for Firefly, Crimson Air Corps and this symbol:
Whose symbol is this? I'm guessing Wild Weasel? The black Joe Skystriker comes with Arashikage symbol, Gung-Ho and this symbol: Whose symbol is this? I have no clue. Last edited by cyclopswc; 08-21-2015 at 12:22 AM.. |

The playing cards are very similar to the VMF 115 symbol. They currently fly the F18 Hornet
Maj. Joseph Foss, is the holder of a World War II (Marine) record of 26 enemy aircraft shot down. The Squadron quickly picked up the nickname, "Joe's Joker's." In May 1944, the Squadron joined the Pacific campaign flying the legendary F4U-1 Corsair. The anchor is Shipwreck's arm tattoo.

That sticker I showed came from the 2011 Skystriker, but you are also right, that symbol is from the original 1987 Killer W.H.A.L.E.!
So now I'm just as confused, why would the 2011 Skystriker comes with a sticker for the Killer W.H.A.L.E.?!? |

I assume for Deep Six, since he was also a pilot of sorts.

I might have to see if I can get someone's spare Shipwreck symbol at some point. I have no intention of owning any more Skystrikers (I think my brother and I have ten total), but I'd love to replace the Killer Whale symbol on Shipwreck's Skystriker.
