This can be anything at all you notice now as an adult or noticed as kid about this stuff. I'm gonna kick it off with something I just now noticed on the back of the box for the ROC RAM CYCLE (with Sandstorm!). Look at the highlighted product features:
"Figure can sit on vehicle!" "Fold-down kickstand!" "Front wheel turns!" Now, I see this as both a good example of how times have changed, and how they haven't. I mean, those "features" are all basic action figure vehicle attributes, and have been for decades, and it's all actually awesome stuff for kids who play with toys, but for the poor product marketers, it sure isn't much to work with. No lights & sounds, no "real launching missiles," no interactive chip gimmicks... Even toys can't be simple. I love it, but it does make me chuckle.

It can be a little easy to take some of those "simple" features for granted, though, when it turns out a toy doesn't really have them, or they don't work as well as expected.
For example, I picked up one of those Gotham City Police cars from The Batman when they went on clearance. It's a very basic vehicle; no objections there. But it can't properly roll around! Yeah, the wheels move, but there's too much friction in the wheels/axles to roll the thing. Not that I'm the type to get down and push a vehicle around the room--maybe just give it a shove and watch it roll off a few feet--but I thought that was kind of disappointing that I couldn't really do either. So if a toy does at least explicitly say "does X", even if "X" is simple, that's reassuring to me.

some vehicles or mobile weapons that the Joes and Cobra use, I question the things of how the things actually work like the Cobra Pogo battle ball things, the S.L.A.M which is a sitting duck that's really vulnerable and dangerous for anyone to even use if it was a real life thing.
also stuff that's just insane like the Earth Borer which is literally a drill hooked onto someone where they drill into the ground or whatever? someone could suffocate and die from the grou8nd closing in around them anyway |

Still not sure how useful it might be.

I remembered a toy commercial for
"Real sucking action!" For some sort of suction cup toy. Not worth the effort finding it anymore because Google will keeps giving you Sucking Sex Toys.

Cobra's single person bubble pod things. those things are vulnerable and yeah theyre cannon fodder to send the pawns out first but still..
your legs are dangling and you're basically sitting on a car seat while covered with giant glass that's shaped like a helmet or whatever. |

I've mentioned this one before; I'm not sure what it counts as, but I liked the idea that Hasbro could have a little fun with breaking the fourth wall and engaging in a bit of self-deprecation.
