I came across these affordable cardboard mail tubes; wrapped in silver-foil. Considering Joe's capsule can top an Atlas Rocket, a cardboard rocket can have a very economical production cost, of $3 to $4 Uline: Search Results. Add some plastic parts for detail, and this maybe priced less than those shorter giant 31-inch figures...

Id love to see some fresh takes on old classics. Bring the 12 inch figure sets into the 1:18 scale.

As I saw the Joe Training Tower for the 1st time as a kid, I thought it was a big Rocket Gantry. Sidenote: big thanks to Dad for great toys and great childhood memories. Back on topic - if the 50th brings a Space Capsule I'll definitely try to find and buy a Training Tower / Rocket Gantry...

As excited as I am to see Toys R Us continue the 50th Anniversary line; it seems like there's something missing. Its only 80s ARAH. OreoBuilder's customs (below) show pre-existing Hasbro parts can indeed make 3.75" figures inspired after the 12" classics. This brings us to the following...
POLL QUESTION: In future TRU 50th Joes, would you like to see 3.75" figures that honor the 12" classics? Photo Credit - http://www.hisstank.com/forum/g-i-jo...rap-up-ob.html |

Not yet. But hopefully, Hasbro can finish strong with a few of these for the 50th Anniversary. Many of these can even be made from pre-existing parts, too. Furthermore, there might be a chance to release an extra year of 50th product, given the delay of the next movie.

A great photo existed (I think on James DeSimone's website) of a Flagg with lots of Shipwreck figures (heads switched to make each look like a different sailor). It was a really cool sight to see. Hopefully we Flagg owners can do the same. All the while TRU can make a descent sale on such a great army-building figure.

Gosh, why can't Hasbro just fart this concept out? I predict: it sells!
