Sorry for the title, I just had to rant for a second.
We now have a confirmed sighting of the wave 1 Comic packs from a Zellers. Guess what?? APPARENTLY NOT A SINGLE DIFFERENCE FROM THE US RELEASE!! No trilingual packaging, no missing art, comic included (usually a big thing in Canada). So, why again are we getting the single card wave 5 figs in such inferior packaging? C'mon Hasbro, get the art back on the single cards. I would laugh if the non-art cards end up being an early run that gets changed and suddenly they become super rare. And by laugh, I mean laugh at the ridiculousness of it all. |

Because they are not ordering the comic packs in the quantities that require the bilingual packaging I believe. That's why TRU was able to sell their exclusives, because it was not a mass produced item and they were ordering less than the amount required. However, I believe that without any French on it, they are not allowed to sell it in Quebec, so I'd be surprised if any retailers in Quebec will get the comic packs unless someone stuck some French stickers on it or something.

Sucks hard indeed and i totally feel for the Canadians bros.
Can't you just order from BBTS and bite a small fee-bullet? I think it's worth it if you want the card art. As far as Canada being Hasblowed.. that really bites |

BBTS's shipping to Canada is too expensive I find. It doesn't cost over $20 to ship one case to Canada. Luckily for me though, I have a source for US carded figures though.

Shipping with those sites is way to expensive. I do have a kind of u.s. connection (a local comic shop gets them in) but they only get one case whenever and its a sort of "whoever they get in, they get in" type of deal...and the fact that I have to beat about a million other joe fans to the store.
