I remember back when the PoC toys were previewed we all saw our first glimpse of Jungle Viper. AMAZING!!!! I remember thinking to myself that he was the coolest figure ever!!!
I think I bought twenty+ off of ebay and some more from some of the sites sponsors. I was thinking I would never find them at retail, so better be safe then sorry. Now, no one really wants them. Seems crazy. Were they overproduced in the heavily saturated wave 2 case? People not army building them like other troops and vipers? Or does he not fit in with our ARAH memories? The last is where I am wondering if Data Viper fits in. |

I hope not, but it wouldn't surprise me. I felt the same way about Jungle Viper, Hazard Viper and now Data Viper. Very cool figures, great accessories. When I was a kid, they would have been very popular.

Awesome figure, but I had no desire to army build him as I think of snipers as a one or two man unit. Thus, I bought just two and not up to a dozen or more like I have with other figures.

I love the JV...he's the anti-Recondo...the Cobra Low-Light...and he has some of the better accessories of my army builders.

Jungle viper sucked. Data viper looks meh. I'll probably just get one. I think when the figures have too much clunky gear it gets in the way of the articulation, and ruins the fun for me.

I skipped Jungle Viper because of his shrub gimmick. And if you removed them, he's left with those big ugly attach points on his forearms.
I feel similarly unenthusiastic about Data Viper. He just looks top-heavy and boring, but possibly more salvageable than the JV was. I'm ordering a case, so I'm stuck with him. I'll probably get rid of him and Kwinn. |

i just dont get the "data" in data viper....with the big helmet and what looks to me like shoulder missle pods the guy seems more like a walking mobile artillery than data collection
with a name like data viper i assumed it was a more computer oriented modern timed tele viper....just the look doesn't match the name if he's all about intel

Data Viper looks very Anime-influenced. I dig him.
Shit, I dig everyone in this damn wave, except maybe Budo. What's his deal, anyway? Like, who is he supposed to be?

^ THIS. There's something really unique about Jungle Viper and Hazard Viper that I just love. I have a feeling I'm really going to like Data Viper as well.
