I like the bat, although I see it as more of an urban combat bat as opposed to an arctic bat.

Simple ways to make these sets better:
regular color night viper Blue Cobra Officer instead of Trooper Blue regular color Viper Hawk slightly changed up to be Sparks One variant Eel in grey/black with no Cobra symbol to be Torpedo Arctic Alpine instead of SE All white BAT instead of camo. ARAH style arctic figures were white, not camo. green/tan Blowtorch instead of yellow.. again Maybe throw unreleased Python Croc Master in there somewhere Simple fixes. Mostly same figs/parts but in new ways people actually want. Not rocket surgery. They're marketed as 50th anniversary product. That's nostalgia marketing. Give the people what they're nostalgic for.

I think a lot of us feel our little opinions are the only considerations Hasbro should consider when releasing new things. Hasbro listened to the vast majority and opened the concept vault. They also made a copious decision to re-release some of the harder to get figures which I think is great. Those who are upset by the repainted NV and rereleased low light probably have them both already or have a surplus of the ones they hoped to continue scalping on eBay. Anyways, thumbs up Hasbro, I think you did good on his one

I completely agree. It's not the grand 50th Anniversary release people were expecting but I for one am very glad the other concept vault figures didn't go the Club route like I feared.

Just wished the HEAT Viper was paired with the maroon colored Viper instead of Blowtorch. I need 6 of those HEAT Vipers, wtf am I gonna do with 6 Blowtorches?

Exactly my point. Hasbro really cocked up the pairings on these packs.

The problem with Joe vehicles is that they haven't kept up with the evolutionary pace of the figures. They all seem like they're better suited to O-ring figures than modern ones.
I know that a vehicle worthy of the figures would probably cost more than most would pay for it, so that's why it hasn't happened. But the heart wants what the heart wants. I look at my big Millennium Falcon and big AT-AT and big Castle Grayskull and imagine what an equivalent GI Joe vehicle would look like. So, I look at the Cobra Wolf and just see a toy that is badly in need of an update. I bet it doesn't even fit modern figures very well. Last edited by SmokePants; 02-17-2014 at 10:02 AM.. |
