Some really good shots... Angles and composition are clearly a strength of yours, along with depth of field focus...
The critiques I'd make are definitely outweighed by the good here... A few photos are overexposed in places such as Sauron, the sky behind the Green Shirts and the background character behind CC in the black hood (but I suspect that's by choice for effect). I also like the ones without saturation effects, but that's a personal preference. Something else you do with composition that I really like is having characters look out of frame, especially when that's to the nearest edge. My favorite use of this is the desert scene with the columns (and the duke with map scene), but you use it to good affect in multiple photos. Your kitbashes are also really nicely done; I like when customizers on here have a style where you can recognize who probably put the figure together just by seeing part selection. You've got an eye for jungle explorer kitbashes using really nice parts. These make your picture more interesting on a different level and fit your scenery selection very well. tl;dr: Great job! Great photos! ;)

Great photos! ;) I agree 100% with the white washed pictures, up until the pics of the dinosaur attacking the house, everything was shot on my camera phone LOL! So now I have to learn to play with settings and make brightness work better aha. But really mate, appreciate all of your kind words I can't wait to get back out and get back on it! Hey, thanks mate! So I am planning and writing a new Dio Story that should be better composed and shot with a real camera, than anything I have done before. I am Thinking about calling it "Forgotten" or something. It will essentially be a Post Apocalyptic Scenario, Like Mad Max/Fallout Universe. There will be: Trade Convoys, Caravan Guards, Raiders, Tribes, Settlements, and of course the over powering presence of the leading authority - Cobra! But anyway - Here is a few shots that I took today to try and get better grips with inside photography (which I still suck at haha). |
