So what happens when you mix over-forceful stamping, too much heat, and a healthy dose of don't-give-a-shit?

That is how my Bombardier arrived. That makes 3 that have arrived in this type of condition. Not counting creases and such that my other ones have had, but aren't worth mentioning. Has the club made any official statement about this? I didn't get the insurance, and don't want to pay shipping to send them back so I guess it is what it is, but unless the club says something about this and promises steps taken to ensure it from happening in the future I will not be getting FSS 3.0. I'll just get the ones I want off ebay or Tankers and I'll know the cards will be in good condition.

Yeah, shipping boxes are in great shape too, doesn't look like shipping damage, weird thing is, the last time this happened, both the figures from that shipment were like that, this time Keel Haul was fine, just a slight crease in the upper left corner. I don't care about small dings and such, it's only when they are so bent that they can't even be hung on my wall that I get upset.

I just e-mailed the club about my damaged Bombardier. It's not where near as bad as SR's is. The right side of the card is rolled and bent up. But Keel-Haul was fine, funny I intended to open Keel-Haul and leave Bombardier carded. The problem I think the club has is with the interior box. It's too small for the figures with larger bubbles. They need to get slightly wider boxes for figure use. Even the normal size bubble figure are a little too tight in the boxes and it warps the cards slightly.

When I get my "replacement" orders, I've found that the generally bubblewrap them, but leave out the outer box (so it's just one box instead of nested). Why they can't bubblewrap them to begin with, I'll never know.
The FSS2 figures almost all come on wider bubbles, and 2 side-by-side don't fit as easily into the silly boxes they designed for FSS1. |

And because the shipper boxes are arriving just fine for most (right?) then they should scrap the second inner box and go with bubble wrap. Something that prevents the need to STUFF these into the box would help with the bent cards, right?

why aren't all these in the star cases they sell in their store? they clearly still make them.
just star case them, instead of bragging about how good the shipping boxes are. It simply makes no sense. at $30 dollar a piece. bananas. this is why as a MoC guy, I'm never going to sign up for the FSS. |
