I'm Having a REALLY hard time posing Ultimate duke while he is wearing his vest.
His damn stubby arms make posing him in his vest such a chore. It took me HOURS before I got a gun he could actually handle two hnded while wearing his vest without looking stupid (an m16 used in POC and 30th steel brigade), and even then it looks tacky. I can't get him to aim the gun from eye level. Have you guys had better luck with your Duke figures? Have you guys been able to pose Duke in good two handed aiming positions with any sort of gun? |

If your willing to cut him. There was a thread showing where to shave down to get better range of motion.

I bought four of these figures because I was so excited by what I might be able to do with it, especially with the alternate head. After experiencing what you describe above I promptly sold them.
(I also thought the alt head looked too small in proportion with the rest of the figure once I had them in hand) Good luck. |

To be Honest, I bought duke for his accessories, but my god these arms are a terrible choice for this figure. He looks good though, which is why it's so frustrating the arms are so limited. Last edited by Snakeeyesisposh; 12-19-2013 at 12:45 AM.. |

Step1 remove retarded bulky vest
Step 2 make indentations on the arms that meet by the armpit and top of forarm/bottom bicep Step 3 place steel brigade vest on, shave down the top of pouch that fastens vest together Step 4 place outback head on figure (put potatum head in bin) Step 5 uber articulated spec ops figure. |

Well, I can't get Duke into a non awkward steady firing position. I'll have to settle with angling the gun at a slant and doing a run and gun position. That kinda sucks. Or I need to keep the vest off, but I probably shouldn't do that since the vest is precisely what made the figure look so good beforehand.

I did shave off a little plastic on the arms and a little on the vest. Worked out fine.
These vests actually work well on the DG Shipwreck for a quick Steel Brigade. My only complaint on the vests are, seems they don't line up perfectly with the back hole for backpacks.
