Greeting everyone! I was a major Joe fan back when I was a kid and now, I know I have been in the dark, in the last month seen all the 25th anniversary merchandise out and I can't help myself. I was wondering what advice you would have for someone trying to get back in the game to collect once again. Such as where to buy, what should I be looking for, what is hot, etc. I know a lot of it depends upon my but I would love your advice! I just found the Resolute webisodes as well and am super excited about it. Look forward to hearing what you have to say. Thanks if I don't get around to it later.

Ebay can be a godsend, but its expensive, try local shops and flee markets first, tank has a pretty nice sell/trade section. use ebay for hard to find stuff or parts.

Bigbadtoystore.com is having some good clearance sales right now on case of some of the most popular figures you probably missed. Buy them by the case (8 figures) and you will save a lot over the individual cost. Use the "pile of loot" feature to gather up all your stuff to ship at once to save you on shipping costs.
Also, grab figures at your local stores (Target, Walmart, etc.). Some pretty good figures are hanging on pegs right now simply because most of us have already gotten ours. Also, set up a thread here on the 'Tank to let people know what you are looking for. Tankers hook each other up all the time. Use paypal. Welcome! |

Check retail stores around you and get what you can there then check sites like BigBadToyStore.com and Hasbro Toy Shop
(there is always a 10% off code for hasbrotoyshop.com site floating around the Tank) |

Pace yourself and get only what you really like, especially with all of the movie stuff coming out in the next few months.

if you are just getting started and trying to catch up rather then just getting the recent releases, try and get cheaper lots from ebay or even trade boards and then fill in from there with trades and other online retailers. Welcometo the money sink!

I would suggest picking up the New Joe and Cobra 5 packs for a start. It is a way to get the premier versions of several core characters in one fell swoop. Then I would suggest just buying what you like. There are also a ton of collectors who army build and such on the board that would be glad to fill in any gaps you may have. happy hunting!
