Just like the title says, I'm looking for suggestions or ideas to get those wave 1 peg warmers out of the way, so we can get waves 3.5 & 4.
The first thought I can think of is to buy wave 1 stuff now and donate it to toys for tots, when they start putting out their boxes. I picked up an extra wave 1 rock, I mean roadblock, for a Sgt. Slaughter custom. I also picked up an extra retaliation joe trooper. I'm going to put the Mohawk headsculpt on an ultimate Duke body, and use it as a retaliation Grunt custom. |

I'll agree with you, when it comes to the motorcycles, but surely, there must be some uses for customizers in that wave.

I would suggest buying them and taking them to a store that has them for clearance and returning them there. I was going to do this until my mind came back to me momentarily and said that would be a waste of my time and resources, then I came across Kokomo toys as well as preordering a few of the offerings from BBTS. I am fine and dandy now.
One of my Walmarts did get a 3.5 case in, then a week or two later they replaced the area with Angry Birds. That was the same for every other location. My Toysrus never gets new stuff for joes. If Walgreens gets anything in I will be surprised. They usually only put out 3 at a time, even then the drive is not worth it, especially during this time of the year. I am glad to have bought my stuff early. Toys for tots is good idea, but I am reserving that for TMNT stuff that I am donating. A way to get back at my 4 year old self for stealing a Donatello and a Michelangelo from another kid. Actually no one knew whose they were, I just knew at the time that I didn't have them. I took them from the basket that we brought our toys in. |

You could buy up all the local inventory within a 50 mile radius, return it all to a single Walmart and then burn that Walmart down.
I was just kidding, NSA! Seriously, though. If you're that desperate for something that you're willing to plot strategies to try and force a retailer to stock it, then you should just buy it online. |

K, you guys. They're just toys. No need to commit inventory exchange fraud for them . . . . . . .
Seriously guys, if you take it into perspective, you guys are scheming ways to commit fraud. FOR TOYS. Newsflash. . . . that's a crime, even if you're unlikely to get caught. Just wait for someone else to buy them. Last edited by Snakeeyesisposh; 10-19-2013 at 05:17 AM.. Reason: Gosh, this thread |

I think its too late to change the retailers minds about supporting what could have been the next wave of Joes. At this point what would have been coming waves are moving through e-tailers and will probably be bought up by east or west coast discount brick and mortar stores.
Maybe Joes will get another chance with a 3rd movie, but I doubt we will see anything on the shelves the way we did with G.I. Joe,' Rise of Cobra.' the shelves were stocked then with product and to bad the product wasn't as good as it has been recently. |
